ANCORE · Cable Training · ANCORE Pro

A 9 lb, torque-loaded cable trainer that delivers 5–65 lbs of real cable resistance from any squat rack, pole, or beam.

Torque-loaded spring mechanism — not gravity, not pneumatic, not flywheel. 1:1 resistance ratio (5–65 lbs, equivalent to 10–130 lbs on a standard 2:1 pulley machine). 8 ft high-strength Dyneema® fiber cable. 220+ exercises. Ships with Strap Mount. Assembled in the USA. 2-year warranty.

The ANCORE Pro is what a full cable machine collapses down to when you strip out the gravity, the pulleys, and the 500 lb frame. Its torque-loaded spring generates real cable tension from any angle — 5 to 65 lbs — at any speed, from a slow controlled tempo to a full-speed ballistic throw. Tension stays on the cable through concentric, eccentric, and isometric phases. Nine pounds fully loaded, 12 inches long. Strap Mount works on squat racks, poles, and beams between 10 and 14 inches of circumference — a home gym, a hotel room, a client's living room, an outdoor pull-up bar. 220+ exercises across strength, rotation, and rehab work, from a device you can pack in a carry-on.

Why a torque-loaded spring beats a 500 lb cable stack for most training

Torque-loaded spring — not gravity-dependent

Traditional cable stacks depend on gravity — which caps how fast you can move the plates before inertia takes over. The ANCORE Pro's torque-loaded spring eliminates that ceiling. Full tension is available at any cable speed, from slow tempo eccentrics to full-speed ballistic throws. Same tool for controlled rehab work and explosive rotational power.

1:1 resistance ratio — not a mechanical advantage

Standard cable machines run 2:1 or 4:1 pulley ratios, meaning a stack labeled 130 lbs delivers ~65 lbs at the handle. The ANCORE Pro's resistance is 1:1 — the plate weight is the resistance you feel. Twenty pounds on the unit is twenty pounds at your grip.

Flat torque curve · continuous tension

The torque curve is flat through the middle of the cable-length range (where most movements happen), with a slight progression from 1 ft out to full 8 ft extension. There's always tension on the cable at any point in the range — which is what makes concentric, eccentric, and isometric training work on the same rep.

Dyneema® synthetic fiber cable

The 8-foot cable is high-strength synthetic Dyneema® fiber — the same class of material used in commercial rigging and body armor. Handles daily training abuse and delivers pro-grade cable performance from a 9 lb device.

Where the ANCORE Pro earns its place in a training space

A full cable machine in 4.75 × 12 in

220+ exercises — the entire cable-machine catalog — from a device the size of a hardcover book. Strength, rotation, chops, presses, pulls, rehab isometrics, ballistic throws. One tool covers what a $3,000 cable stack does, at a fraction of the footprint.

Portable — home, travel, client sessions

Nine pounds, fits in a carry-on. Train at home on the squat rack, then bring it to client sessions, pack it for travel, or take it outside for a pull-up-bar rotation session. Cable training that doesn't require a dedicated room.

Rehab-to-ballistic on one device

The torque-loaded spring gives you a controlled 5 lb isometric hold and a full-speed 65 lb rotational throw on the same session. Slow-tempo joint rehab and explosive power training aren't separate categories on this tool.

A closer look

ANCORE Pro portable cable training system mounted on squat rack

Mounts to anything ~10–14 in around

The included Strap Mount wraps almost any squat rack, and works equally well on poles, beams, and fixtures with a circumference between 10 and 14 inches. No install, no drilling. Wrap it, lock it, train.

Adjustable 5–65 lbs · in 10 lb increments

Base resistance is 5 lbs with no plates attached. Each 10 lb plate adds 10 lbs to the resistance, up to a maximum of three plates per side — 65 lbs total. Standard set covers 5–55 lbs; Plus set includes the additional plates for 65 lbs. Add plates over time as you outgrow the range.

A whole system, ready to train

Ships with the ANCORE Pro unit, resistance plates, coated steel universal carabiner clip, and the Strap Mount. Additional mounts (Rack Mount, Wall Mount, Sliding Track Mount) and attachments (Chop Handle, 3D Strap, Straight Bar, Tricep Rope, Handle, Ankle Strap, and more) available separately when you want to expand what the system does.

Standard set vs. Plus set

Two resistance-plate configurations at purchase. The ANCORE Pro unit is identical either way — the difference is how many plates ship with it.

Standard set — 5 to 55 lbs

Enough resistance plates to reach 55 lbs of resistance. Sized for most home users and general training. Additional plates can be purchased later if you outgrow the range.

Plus set — 5 to 65 lbs

Includes a pair of additional 10 lb plates to unlock the full 65 lbs max resistance. Three 10 lb plates per side plus the 5 lb base. Sized for stronger users and athletes who want the full range from day one.

Frequently asked questions

Traditional cable machines run 2:1 or 4:1 pulley ratios to gain mechanical advantage — a 130 lb stack delivers about 65 lbs at the handle. The ANCORE Pro uses a 1:1 ratio, so the plate weight is the resistance you feel. It's also driven by a torque-loaded spring, not gravity — which means full tension is available at any speed, from slow controlled tempo to full ballistic throws. Most customers describe the feel as similar to a pneumatic cable system.

5 lbs (base) to 65 lbs total — three 10 lb plates per side plus the 5 lb base. Because the ANCORE Pro is 1:1, that 65 lbs is equivalent to approximately 130 lbs on a 2:1 pulley machine.

No — not with the included Strap Mount, and not with any of ANCORE's Rack Mount or QuickMount options. Only the Wall Mount and Sliding Track Mount require installation into wall studs; ANCORE provides all hardware and detailed instructions for those.

The Strap Mount works on nearly any squat rack, and also on poles, beams, and fixtures. Optimal circumference is between 10 and 14 inches. That covers home squat racks, gym uprights, and outdoor pull-up bars. Additional mounts (Rack Mount, Wall Mount, Sliding Track Mount) are available separately for permanent installs.

Yes. Tension is present at any point in the 8-foot cable range — that's what allows concentric, eccentric, and isometric training on the same movement. The torque curve is flat through the middle of the range (where most reps happen), with a slight progression from 1 ft out to full extension.

Yes — that's a core design goal. Because resistance is spring-driven, not gravity-driven or flywheel-driven, you can accelerate the cable to full speed for rotational throws, med-ball-style movements, and other ballistic work. Slow controlled tempo work operates on the same tension curve.

The Standard set covers 5–55 lbs — enough for most home training and general strength work. The Plus set adds a pair of 10 lb plates to reach the full 65 lb max — for stronger users, athletes, or trainers working with a range of clients. Additional plates can also be purchased separately later.

No specialized maintenance beyond standard cable inspection. The Dyneema® fiber cable handles daily use — check for wear periodically, as you would on any cable device.
