The BodyKore CF2172 Seated Calf Raise isolates the soleus and gastrocnemius through a seated knee-bent position that preferentially loads the deeper soleus muscle, which is under-trained by standing calf raise variations. The adjustable pad positions the knee load at the correct biomechanical position for full ankle range of motion, and the plate-loaded design allows precise load increments without the limits of a selectorized stack. The 112-lb frame supports the asymmetric loading of single-leg seated calf work.
