Garmin Enduro

Garmin Enduro 4 GPS Smartwatch

The Garmin Enduro 4 GPS Smartwatch is a rugged GPS smartwatch built for ultramarathons, adventure races and multiday trips. With solar charging, the battery lasts up to 90 days in smartwatch mode. Track with GPS in extended battery mode and it runs up to 120 hours, or 320 with solar charging. It pairs a titanium bezel and a Power Sapphire lens with a sweat-wicking ComfortFit fabric band. The whole watch weighs 66 g, light on the wrist through a long race. Grade-adjusted pace targets keep your effort honest on climbs and descents. It ships on a dark olive band and carries a 10 ATM water rating.

More than 100 activity profiles cover trail and ultra running, cycling, swimming, hiking, rucking, rowing, skiing and golf. TopoActive maps for multiple continents come preloaded, and a built-in LED flashlight with white and red light guides you after dark.

Built for the epic

How it works

Solar charging and power modes
Solar charging adds runtime in bright sunlight, and power modes trade features for runtime when a race runs long. Normal activity mode gives up to 80 hours, or 144 with solar; max battery mode reaches 210 hours, and unlimited with solar. Power manager shows how your settings and sensors change the time you have left.
210 hr
Grade-adjusted pace
Grade-adjusted pace accounts for the incline or decline under your feet. Workouts set pace targets adjusted to the terrain, and rolling pace keeps a running average with the same correction, so a steep climb no longer reads as a bad split.
Multi-band GPS with SatIQ
Multi-band GPS listens to more than one signal band from several satellite systems for more accurate positioning, and GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou add to the satellites it can use. SatIQ technology keeps that accuracy while getting the most from the battery on a long day out.
Stamina and endurance metrics
Stamina metrics show how your endurance is changing over time, based on your fitness gains and training history. Endurance score tracks your ability to hold a long effort, and hill score measures how well you run uphill.

Training

Train for the long day

Training readiness gives you a score each morning from your sleep quality, recovery and training load, so you know whether to push or ease off. Training status shows whether your training is productive, peaking or strained.

  • Trail run VO2 max, adjusted for trail and terrain conditions
  • Adventure racing activity records GPS and shows key stats, with the map hidden to suit race rules
  • PacePro pacing strategies for a chosen course or distance
  • Recovery time and a visual race predictor for 5K to marathon

Health and everyday features

Between races the Enduro 4 keeps working as an everyday smartwatch. A morning report sums up your sleep, training outlook, heart rate variability (HRV) status and weather when you wake, and an evening report sets up tomorrow with your sleep need and the next workout.

  • Wrist-based heart rate, HRV status and Body Battery energy monitoring
  • Sleep coach with sleep score, sleep stages and nap detection
  • Pulse Ox blood oxygen tracking, awake or asleep
  • Garmin ECG app, where available
