8-Chamber Pneumatic Compression

HEALiX Flow Pro Compression Boots

Eight individual overlapping chambers per leg, adjustable from 80 all the way to 260 mmHg, with six preset massage treatments to move between. This is the higher-output set in the HEALiX compression line, and the extra chambers give the sequence more places to land between ankle and upper thigh.

Air arrives through inline external tubing, which HEALiX says delivers higher airflow and stronger compression than an internal routing. A wireless handheld LCD touchscreen controller drives both boots, the internal battery supports hours of cordless use, and the whole set travels in a full-size backpack carry case. Sizes run Medium, Large and Extra Large.

The Hardware

Where the Extra Output Comes From

Four specifications carry this model above the standard Flow. All four are HEALiX's own published figures for the PRO.

🌀
Eight overlapping chambers
Eight separate chambers fill and empty in sequence along each leg. Overlap between neighbouring chambers keeps the pressure wave continuous as it travels from the foot toward the thigh.
8 per leg
📈
80 to 260 mmHg, adjustable
Compression is adjustable across the full band, giving a ceiling 60 mmHg above the standard Flow. HEALiX recommends starting near 100 mmHg and working upward by comfort.
260 mmHg ceiling
🔌
Inline external tubing
The PRO runs its air through inline tubing outside the sleeve. HEALiX's stated reason is higher airflow and stronger compression, which is what the 260 mmHg ceiling asks for.

Wireless handheld controller
One wireless LCD touchscreen controller sets pressure and program for both boots. Its rechargeable internal battery supports hours of cordless use per charge.

A Closer Look

Three Things Worth Knowing Before You Buy

HEALiX Flow Pro Compression Boots
Chambers

Eight zones, sequenced upward

Each boot holds eight individual overlapping air chambers. They inflate and deflate in order, so pressure arrives as a pulse that travels along the leg. Eight zones divide the same length of leg more finely than five, and the overlap keeps neighbouring chambers in contact through the handover.

  • 8 individual overlapping air chambers per boot
  • Sequential inflation and deflation
  • Adjustable compression from 80 to 260 mmHg
  • Suggested starting point near 100 mmHg

Control & Airflow

A wireless controller and inline tubing

Pressure and program selection happen on a wireless handheld LCD touchscreen, which stays in your hand once the boots are on. Inline external tubing feeds the chambers; HEALiX's reason for that arrangement is higher airflow and stronger compression at the top of the range.

Three sizes and a backpack

Sizing comes from HEALiX's own guide and runs to an Extra Large the standard Flow does not offer. Take a tape to the widest point of your upper thigh before you choose. If that number and your height land on two different sizes, the thigh measurement is the one to trust. A session lasts 15 to 30 minutes, and HEALiX describes 20 to 30 minutes after a workout as the usual pattern.

  • Medium fits 5'0"–5'6", upper thigh up to 25.6"
  • Large fits 5'6"–5'10", upper thigh up to 27.6"
  • Extra Large fits 5'10"–6'3", upper thigh up to 30"
  • Session 15 to 30 minutes
  • Full-size backpack carry case included

Flow or Flow PRO

Two Sets of HEALiX Boots

The decision comes down to output against portability. The PRO carries more chambers, a higher ceiling and twice the programs; the standard Flow gives up all three for a build with nothing hanging off it.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

More of nearly everything. 8 chambers against five, 80–260 mmHg against 80–200, and 6 preset treatments against three. The PRO adds a wireless handheld controller, inline external tubing for higher airflow, a full-size backpack and an Extra Large size.
Eight individual overlapping air chambers. They fill and release in sequence, moving a pressure pulse along the leg.
Adjustable from 80 to 260 mmHg. HEALiX advises starting near 100 mmHg and increasing by comfort from there. The top of the range is a long way up; there is no reason to rush toward it.
Six preset massage treatments. Each varies how the eight chambers cycle during a session.
HEALiX's stated reason for the inline external tubing is higher airflow and stronger compression. It is the trade the PRO makes for its 260 mmHg ceiling, and it is the main structural difference from the tubeless Flow.
Through a wireless handheld LCD touchscreen controller that sets pressure and program for both boots from one screen.
Yes. A rechargeable internal battery supports hours of cordless use, so the boots work away from an outlet.
15 to 30 minutes. HEALiX describes 20 to 30 minutes after a workout as the common pattern among their users.
Three are offered. Medium fits 5'0"–5'6" with an upper thigh up to 25.6". Large fits 5'6"–5'10" with an upper thigh up to 27.6". Extra Large fits 5'10"–6'3" with an upper thigh up to 30". Measure your upper thigh at its widest point and let that measurement decide when it conflicts with your height.
A full-size backpack carry case ships with the PRO and holds the boots, the controller and the tubing.
Yes. Talk to your physician before you begin, particularly if you are pregnant, have a cardiac or circulatory condition, have a history of blood clots, or are recovering from surgery or injury. Recovery For Athletes sells the Flow PRO as recovery equipment and makes no medical claim for it. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything.
Yes, and HEALiX states this plainly: stop immediately if you feel numbness, tingling, cold toes or pain. Remove the boots and check with your doctor before another session. At a 260 mmHg ceiling this instruction matters more here than on any other model in the range.
They cite published research on intermittent pneumatic compression in their own material. We have not repeated what those papers concluded, and none of them examined the Flow PRO.
Every pair ships with a 2-year warranty and a 45-day money-back satisfaction guarantee, which gives you a month and a half to settle on a pressure setting and a size.
Delivery is free and takes 2–4 days anywhere in the lower 48. The Flow PRO is HSA/FSA eligible; confirm the specifics with your plan administrator, since coverage varies.
