Is Red and Near Infrared Safe?
Yes! For typical users, there are nearly no reported negative side effects from these technologies… It’s one of their largest strengths.
Those with epilepsy should not sure Red-Light products, and those with conditions including those with cancer, hyperthyroidism, eye disease, light allergy, and pregnant women should consult their physician prior to use.
How can I get effects on my face?
The Glow Light Pod is designed so users can slide down into the pod to expose their face! With an open bottom users can slide in when they please to get therapy on the face.
We recommend using 2 yoga blocks at the top of the pod to support the walls and keep the mat off your face while attempting therapy sessions in this manner.
How do avoid toxin exposure from liner?
We have invested heavily in a safe material! The HEALiX Glow uses Thermoplastic Polyurethane or TPU.
It does not contain plasticizers or phthalates. It is 100% BPA, BPS and BPF free. It’s a food safe material that does not interfere with endocrine system and hormones! The material complies with REACH regulations. It is designed specifically for skin contact, and is biodegradable!
Do you sweat in this?
The HEALiX Glow is not a heat therapy product. While Near Infrared can create a slight warming during the session, few report breaking a sweat.
For those that do, the liner is waterproof and capable of handling our recommended sanitation procedures of anti-bacterial essential oil sprays.
Can larger people fit in the Glow Light Pod?
The HEALiX Glow is designed to work for users of many sizes! The bottom of the pod is open, so if you are taller, you can inch your feet out the bottom. If you are heavier, the pod has a height just over a foot, so it can wrap around heavier people.
