Great stove for my 8x12 sauna

"I'm taking off a star because the write-up says it requires 330lbs of stones - 10 boxes. There is an option to add nine boxes of stones to the order. I selected that plus added another box to get to 10. Maybe I could have stacked stones better, but nine boxes were plenty. I recommend getting nine boxes of stone and not ten, despite what the write-up says. I also ordered the through-the-wall chimney. There aren't instructions for the chimney. There is a diagram. I have almost no construction experience. I would have appreciated much more detail in the instructions. The instruction manual for the stove was good. The manual did say that a certified installer needs to put in the chimney. This may be why the chimney lacked instructions. I also had to order another chimney section to meet distance requirements from the roof. I did a test burn after I put it in the sauna and installed the chimney, but before I put in the stones. Everything seems to be working, and the sauna got to 150F without the door installed. I'm still building the door. The outside dimensions of my sauna are 8'x12'x 8' high. I framed with 2x6 and used Rockwool R23 insulation on the walls, floors, and ceiling. I put in a vapor barrier, furring strips, and finished with aspen tongue-and-groove. I hired a mason to put in a flagstone floor. During that test burn, one load of wood kept the sauna, without a door, hot for several hours. The performance of the stove will be even better once I put in the stones and finish the door. I expect to be very happy with this stove. I did put a gable roof on the sauna. It may have been better to have put on a shed roof and used a through-the-roof chimney and not a through-the-wall chimney."
