The Hypervolt 2 is the earlier generation, and it is the only Hypervolt whose motor Hyperice puts a number on: a brushless high-torque 60W motor, driving three speeds of percussion. It is also the only one with published dimensions, at 7.5 × 2.5 × 9.5 in and 1.8 lbs.

Five head attachments ship with it, named as fork, ball, cushion, flat and bullet, and they travel in a head attachment pouch. Battery life is 3 hours from an 18V wall charger that comes with three international adapters. Patented Pressure Sensor Technology™ reports the force you apply, Bluetooth® links the gun to the Hyperice App, and QuietGlide® handles the noise.

Across the four sold here: the Hypervolt 2 weighs 1.8 lbs and pairs a 60W brushless high-torque motor with three speeds. The Hypervolt 3 is 2 lbs with five speeds and a published 48 dB. The Hypervolt 3 Pro is 2.5 lbs with six speeds at 51 dB. The Hypervolt Go 3 is the travel model at 1.6 lbs and 55 dB. The three 3-series guns all run 1500 to 2500 RPM; the Hypervolt 2 publishes no RPM figure.
What can be verified is the hardware. The Hypervolt 2 applies percussion at three speeds through five head shapes that vary how much contact area meets the muscle, and the pressure sensor tells you how hard you are pressing. The older Recovery For Athletes copy went further and described effects on circulation, tension and range of motion; those are the listing's claims, not specifications.
