The Infinium VioScan C7 is a wireless, handheld convex point-of-care ultrasound device purpose-built for deeper abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, urologic, and cardiac imaging applications - delivering high-quality diagnostic images to any tablet, mobile device, or PC across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms with no software subscription required.
Operating at a 2.0-5.0 MHz bandwidth with 11.8-inch penetration depth, the VioScan C7's convex transducer is optimized for the broader, deeper field of view required for OB early, mid, and late pregnancy imaging, gynecology, urology, bladder volume measurement, cardiac assessment, general abdominal scanning, small organ imaging (prostate, thyroid, scrotum, breast, spleen, renal), and needle/catheter guidance procedures. Fifteen built-in imaging presets provide a fast, protocol-ready start across common clinical scenarios, and over 30 customizable imaging parameters allow clinicians to build and save their own user presets for practice-specific workflows. Integrated AI-assisted clinical support tools provide automatic gain adjustment, settings optimization, and automated measurements and calculations - including dedicated auto-measurement tools for OB, cardiology, and bladder volume - reducing manual setup and supporting consistent diagnostic accuracy across high-volume point-of-care environments.
The VioScan C7 is IP67 waterproof, built for field and clinical durability, and features a feather-light ergonomic design with a 4-hour battery life and 2-hour quick charge for all-day mobile use.
Like the VioScan L2 linear model, the C7 operates on a no-subscription software model with seamless DICOM 3.0 connectivity for direct EMR integration - eliminating the ongoing licensing costs associated with most handheld ultrasound platforms and making the VioScan C7 one of the most cost-effective wireless convex ultrasound solutions available for point-of-care use. Imaging modes include B-Mode, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulsed Wave Doppler, and Power Doppler, with real-time app updates keeping the device current without manual firmware management.
Optional add-ons include pulsed wave Doppler, a needle guide for procedural guidance, and a charging cradle for clinic-based deployment. For OB/GYN practices, emergency physicians, urologists, hospitalists, and point-of-care clinicians who need a capable, wireless, AI-assisted handheld convex ultrasound with automated OB and bladder volume measurements and no recurring software costs, the Infinium VioScan C7 is the purpose-built, subscription-free choice.
