The Infinium VS400 is a near-infrared vein viewer that projects radiation-free infrared light onto the patient's skin to produce a clear, real-time map of the underlying vein pattern - making it easier for medical professionals to locate veins accurately for venipuncture, vascular procedures, and cosmetic injections without the guesswork and multiple attempts that lead to patient discomfort and bruising.

The VS400's near-infrared technology works by projecting light that is absorbed by blood but reflected by the surrounding tissue, creating a high-contrast, high-resolution image of the vein structure directly on the skin surface. Five color modes allow clinicians to select the display setting that provides optimal vein contrast for different skin tones and lighting environments, and three adjustable projection sizes accommodate different treatment areas and patient anatomy - from pediatric-scale venipuncture sites to broader vascular mapping for spider vein treatment. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps the VS400 operational through extended clinical use, and a charging dock is included as standard. Both fixed and mobile support arm configurations are available, making the VS400 adaptable for permanent installation at nursing stations or IV suites as well as mobile deployment across patient rooms and procedure areas.

The VS400 is well-suited for three primary clinical applications. For venipuncture and blood draws, the projected vein map helps clinicians identify suitable insertion sites quickly and accurately - particularly in patients with difficult vein access due to age, obesity, dark skin tone, or dehydration. For vascular procedures including spider vein and deeper vein treatment, the VS400 identifies target vessels that may not be visible at the surface, supporting more precise procedural placement.
