iRESTORE | LED Belts
The iRESTORE Flex LED Belt is a wireless LED belt carrying 315 LEDs at three wavelengths: 590 nm in the amber, 660 nm in the red and 850 nm in the near-infrared. It weighs 1.12 lb and runs with no cable attached, so the belt goes on and the session starts wherever you happen to be standing.
Sessions run 10, 20 or 30 minutes, the belt shuts off on its own at the end of whichever one you set, and a single charge covers up to six of the 30 minute sessions.
The belt wraps the waist, the lower back, the shoulders, the hips, the thighs and the arms, so one strap covers six positions on the body rather than one fixed area. At 1.12 lb it is the lighter of the two iRESTORE belts, and the only one of the two that runs without being plugged in.
iRESTORE covers the Flex LED Belt with a 1 year warranty, and the return window on the belt runs 60 days from the date of delivery, with the return authorisation raised between day 30 and day 60.
The hardware
Running without a cable decides where the Flex is used, how long a charge lasts and what the belt weighs, and it is the one decision the corded iRESTORE Sculpt LED Belt takes the other way.
01
The Flex LED Belt carries its own rechargeable battery, so a session needs no wall socket and no lead trailing behind you. One charge covers up to six 30 minute sessions. The iRESTORE Sculpt LED Belt runs corded on two USB-C wall plugs, so the two belts in this range sit either side of that one decision.
Six sessions a charge
02
Three wavelengths are built into the Flex and one of them is amber. Amber emits at 590 nm, red at 660 nm and near-infrared at 850 nm, and the 315 LEDs in the strap carry all three. Amber at 590 nm appears in no other iRESTORE belt, and the Sculpt belt runs a different set at 630 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm, so 850 nm is the one wavelength the two of them share.
Three wavelengths
03
Three session lengths are built in at 10, 20 and 30 minutes, and the belt shuts off by itself at the end of the one you set. Nothing needs turning off at the finish and nothing runs on past the timer. The corded iRESTORE Sculpt LED Belt runs the same three lengths, so the choice between the two belts is not a choice between session times.
Auto shut-off
04
The Flex weighs 1.12 lb, which is half a pound under the Sculpt LED Belt and part of why it can be strapped to an arm or a thigh as readily as a waist. A belt that carries its own battery has to hold that weight against you for the whole session, so the figure matters more here than it would on a corded panel.
1.12 lb
Feature by feature
The 315 LEDs and the three wavelengths are where the Flex starts, and the timer, the charge, the six wearing positions and the 60 day return window are what a buyer weighs against the corded Sculpt.
01
The strap carries 315 LEDs along its length.
02
The amber LEDs emit at 590 nm, a wavelength the Sculpt belt does not carry.
03
Red emits at 660 nm and near-infrared at 850 nm in the same strap.
04
Sessions run 10, 20 or 30 minutes and the belt stops on its own.
05
A full charge covers up to six 30 minute sessions.
06
The belt runs wireless, so no cable attaches while it is worn.
07
One strap wraps six positions, from the waist and lower back out to the arms.
08
iRESTORE takes returns on the belt for 60 days from delivery.
In detail
The emitters
All 315 LEDs are set into the strap itself, so the belt folds around a limb as readily as it does a waist. Three wavelengths sit in those LEDs: 590 nm in the amber, 660 nm in the red and 850 nm in the near-infrared. The amber is the wavelength that marks the Flex out inside the iRESTORE belt range, since the Sculpt LED Belt runs 630 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm and carries no amber at all.
Where it goes
Six places are given for the Flex: the waist, the lower back, the shoulders, the hips, the thighs and the arms. A strap that wraps a thigh has to close a good deal tighter than one that wraps a waist, so the belt is built to be pulled to both. Moving it from one position to the next takes as long as undoing it and doing it up again, and the same 10, 20 or 30 minute timer runs wherever you put it.
Power
The Flex holds its own rechargeable battery and runs wireless, so the belt can be worn while you move around and there is no socket to stand near. One charge covers up to six 30 minute sessions. The corded Sculpt LED Belt takes the opposite approach and runs from two USB-C wall plugs, so it stays where the plugs are.
Cover and returns
The warranty runs a year from the date of purchase and the return window runs 60 days from the date of delivery, so the two terms are counted from two different days.
iRESTORE covers the Flex LED Belt for 1 year from the date of purchase, and takes returns on the belt for 60 days from the date of delivery. The return authorisation is raised between day 30 and day 60.
The belt itself is the product: 315 LEDs in a strap, a rechargeable battery, a timer with three settings and 1.12 lb on the scale. The iRESTORE Sculpt LED Belt is the other belt in the range, and it differs on the LED count, the power and the weight while running the same three session lengths.
The family
Wireless against corded is the first decision in this family, and LED count is the second. The Flex runs 315 LEDs off its own battery, the Sculpt runs 1,260 LEDs from two wall plugs, and the power bank is the accessory iRESTORE sells for the Sculpt.
You are here
A wireless LED belt carrying 315 LEDs at 590 nm amber, 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared, in 10, 20 or 30 minute sessions.
A corded LED belt carrying 1,260 LEDs at 630 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm, in 10, 20 or 30 minute sessions.
A 20,000 mAh lithium polymer power bank that iRESTORE sells for the Sculpt LED Belt, taking 5V/3A in and putting 5V/3A out.
Questions
315 LEDs, set along the strap. They run at three wavelengths: 590 nm amber, 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared.
10, 20 or 30 minutes, set before the belt starts. It shuts off on its own at the end of whichever setting is running.
Yes. It carries its own rechargeable battery, so nothing plugs into the belt while it is being worn. The Sculpt LED Belt is the corded one of the two.
Up to six 30 minute sessions on a full charge. The 10 and 20 minute settings draw on the same battery.
Six positions: the waist, the lower back, the shoulders, the hips, the thighs and the arms. The same strap and the same timer are used in every one of them.
1.12 lb. The Sculpt LED Belt weighs 1.65 lb, so the Flex is the lighter of the two by about half a pound.
590 nm amber, 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. The Sculpt LED Belt runs 630 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm, so 850 nm is the one wavelength the two of them share.
Power and count. The Flex runs 315 LEDs off its own battery at 1.12 lb. The Sculpt LED Belt runs 1,260 LEDs corded from two USB-C wall plugs at 1.65 lb, on a different wavelength set. Both offer 10, 20 and 30 minute sessions and both carry a 1 year warranty.
1 year from the date of purchase, the same term the Sculpt LED Belt carries.
Yes. iRESTORE allows 60 days from the date of delivery on this belt, and a return authorisation is raised between day 30 and day 60.
The Sculpt LED Belt, at 1,260 LEDs against the 315 in the Flex. It is the corded belt of the two and it weighs more, so the count comes with a socket and an extra half pound.
