Warranty Information

5 Year Limited Warranty

Golden Designs, Inc. under the Dynamic brand name warranties the wood, structure, heating elements, and electronics against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 to 5 years from the original date of purchase. This sauna is for INDOOR use only. Placing your sauna outdoors will VOID this warranty. Any damage due to exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sun, wind or extreme temperatures will not be covered by this warranty. Any damages as a result of modifications made to the sauna or its components will void this warranty.

Extent of Warranty

This limited warranty applies to products manufactured or distributed by Golden Designs, Inc. under the Dynamic brand name, delivered in the continental United States or Canada and extends to the original purchaser at the original site of installation only. This warranty becomes valid at time of purchase and terminates either by specified time frame listed above, owner transfer, or relocation. Your sales receipt showing the date of purchase of the product is your proof of purchase. Warranty is not transferable.

Manufacturer Warranty

All Golden Designs, Inc. products are manufactured with the highest quality appliances and are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. The appliance warranty is extended through the manufacturer for the product including, but not limited to: stereos, CD/DVD players, etc. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of Golden Designs, Inc. Golden Designs, Inc. reserves the right to change manufactures of any part to cover any existing warranty. Any parts determined to be defective must be returned to Golden Designs, Inc. to obtain warranty service. You must prepay any shipping charges, export taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any other charges associated with the transportation of the parts. In addition you are responsible for insuring any parts shipped or returned. You must present Golden Designs, Inc. with proof of purchase documents (including the date of purchase). Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents will be cause to VOID this limited warranty. Products on which the serial number has been defaced or removed is not eligible for warranty service. This warranty covers parts, but does not cover labor.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not apply if the unit has been subject to negligence, alteration, modification, misuse, abuse, repairs by non-Golden Designs, Inc. authorized personnel, inappropriate installations, or any case beyond the control of Golden Designs, Inc.
invalidating this warranty including but are not limited to:
▪ Use of lacquer or paints
▪ Sauna and other Golden Designs, Inc. products accessories placed on non-
approved surfaces
▪ Outdoor applications
▪ Normal wear and tear or weathering
▪ Use of product not in accordance with instructions
▪ Worn out receptacle

Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are normal characteristics of all woods. This includes minor cracks due to wood expansion and contraction. Note: Since the wood used in construction has been kiln dried, a certain amount of expansion and contraction occurs in the wood in a
sauna environment.

*Limited Lifetime Warranty of Sauna Products is 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use on heating elements and electronics from the date of purchase. The wood structure has a 1 year limited warranty.

Maxxus 4-Person Low EMF FAR Infrared Sauna (Canadian Hemlock)

The K406 is the widest cabinet Maxxus build: 74" across, 42" deep and 75" high, with the roof overhang adding 5.9" to the depth. Inside it runs 68" × 37" × 68", and Maxxus rate it at full 4 person capacity. Nine Maxxus Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels are fitted.

This hemlock build is one of only two Maxxus saunas in the four-person range that Maxxus fit with interior and exterior LED control panels — you can set it running before you walk in. Construction is Natural Reforested Canadian Hemlock with a Bronze Tinted Tempered glass door.

Nine Maxxus Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels are specified. Maxxus publish no wattage for any sauna in the range, so no kW figure appears on this page. Maxxus put the ideal operating range at 118°F–132°F and the maximum at 140°F.

Nine Panels, And A Switch On The Outside

Nine Maxxus Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels heat the cabin, and Maxxus fit Interior/Exterior LED Control Panels so the sauna can be started from the room. Their owner's manual states that at about two inches from the heater panel, their Low EMF carbon heater panels range between an average of 5 mG and 10 mG; the product page repeats that range at 2 to 3 inches from the heating panels.

One Cabinet, Four Configurations

All four Maxxus four-person saunas use the same 74" × 42" × 75" cabinet with a 68" × 37" × 68" interior and a 120 V / 20 amp circuit. What changes across the row is wood, EMF tier, control panel and weight. This hemlock Low EMF build assembles at 400 lbs and ships at 465 lbs, and like the hemlock Near Zero build it carries a control panel on the outside of the cabin.

Maxxus rate it at full 4 person capacity, with an interior of 68" W × 37" D × 68" H. Maxxus publish no bench dimensions on any of their saunas, so we cannot give you a seat length — ask us and we will request it in writing before you order.
Maxxus give 118°F–132°F as the ideal operating range and 140°F as the maximum. The figures are published across the Maxxus infrared range rather than per cabin, and the MX-K406-01 carries no figure of its own.
Yes. Maxxus specify Interior/Exterior LED Control Panels on this model. Both hemlock four-person builds carry a panel on the outside; both cedar versions are fitted with an interior touch screen only.
This sauna is on the Low EMF tier. Maxxus' owner's manual states that at about two inches from the heater panel, their Low EMF carbon heater panels range between an average of 5 mG and 10 mG, and the K406 product page gives the same 5–10 mG range at 2 to 3 inches from the heating panels. That is Maxxus' claim, quoted with the measuring distance attached.
The exterior is 74" W × 42" D × 75" H, and the roof overhang adds 5.9" to the depth. Ceiling height needs to clear 75". It arrives as three boxes at 465 lbs combined, so measure the doorways on the route in as well.
Maxxus specify a 120 V / 20 amp non-GFCI dedicated receptacle and breaker, and state that this is not a 220/240 V appliance. Their instruction is to consult a certified electrician, and the circuit should serve the sauna alone.
Four published differences beyond the species. The cedar carries an Interior Touch Screen Control Panel with no exterior panel listed, its chromotherapy is described as "Oversize", its audio is listed as FM Station where this one is FM Radio, and the weights differ: the cedar is 390 lbs assembled and 500 lbs shipped against 400 lbs and 465 lbs here. Dimensions, heater count and EMF claim are identical.
Free curbside delivery via freight to the 48 contiguous states, with free delivery damage insurance included. The freight carrier contacts you 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a day and time Monday through Friday inside a 4-hour window, and will not deliver without speaking to you first. The sauna arrives strapped to a pallet on a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who unloads to your curbside or driveway only. Raise anything unusual about your access — long driveway, low branches, stairs, apartment complex — with us before the sauna ships. When the driver unloads, inspect the boxes and note any scratches, dents, or scuff marks on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to do that.
