Magnetic Resistance Exercise Bike
The MRB1 spins a 13.2 lb precision cast-iron flywheel against a non-contact magnetic brake. The flywheel is what carries the pedal stroke through the dead spot at the top and bottom of each revolution, so a hard interval feels like riding rather than fighting a machine. The magnets never touch it, which is why the bike runs under 25 dB and has nothing in the resistance path to wear out.
Resistance moves through a continuous 0–100% range instead of fixed clicks, so you can add a fraction of load between efforts rather than jumping a whole level. The triangular commercial-steel frame is rated to 300 lb, and the bike draws no power at all — no outlet, no cable, so it goes wherever you have floor space.
The Technology
Flywheel mass, how the resistance is applied, what the frame is built from, and what happens to your data. The MRB1 answers each one with a specific number.
Why Athletes Choose This
Built For Training
Most home bikes give you eight or twenty numbered levels, and the jump between two of them is often bigger than the adjustment you actually wanted. The MRB1 runs a 0–100% micro-adjustable magnetic system, so you can nudge the load a few percent to hold a target cadence through the back half of a set. Because the magnets never contact the 13.2 lb flywheel, that load stays identical in month twelve — there is no pad wearing thinner every session.
Saddle height sets your knee angle; handlebar height sets how much weight your wrists carry. The MRB1 adjusts both independently — the seat for riders of different heights, the handlebar through multiple positions for different arm lengths and riding postures. That second adjustment is the one that decides whether a 45-minute session ends with sore wrists or not, and it is also what lets two people of different builds share the same bike without re-fitting it every time.
The console keeps workout data easy to read while you are riding, so you can check where you are in an effort without breaking position. Pair the bike to the HitGo app over Bluetooth and the same session opens into professional courses and global racing, both included at no charge. Two ways to ride: heads-down against the numbers, or heads-up against other people.
Steady-state work is where home bikes get abandoned, and it usually comes down to small logistics. The MRB1 has an adjustable mount that holds a phone or a tablet steady, and an integrated bottle holder that puts water in reach without you sitting up and breaking cadence. When the session is done, built-in wheels take the 57.3 lb bike out of the room in seconds.
