WATERROWER | NOHRD ยท Running ยท Citius

A motorized slat-belt treadmill that goes 0.1 to 30 km/h, inclines to 25%, and runs both directions.

Made in Germany from fine woods and precision-engineered components. Brushless DC motor with servo technology. Rubberized slats deliver up to 90% shock absorption. Push-and-pull function turns the tread into a strength device.

The NOHRD Citius is a motorized slat-belt treadmill designed to meet the highest standards in design, engineering, and comfort. Manufactured entirely in Germany, it combines innovative materials with advanced drive technology and a unique slat design. Speed adjusts in 0.1 km/h increments โ€” from gentle rehab pace to a 30 km/h sprint. Incline climbs to 25%. And unlike a conventional treadmill, the Citius runs in both directions: the push function turns the tread into a resistance strength device for the legs, glutes, core, and upper body simultaneously.

Four points that set the Citius apart from other premium treadmills

Brushless DC motor with servo technology

A long-life brushless DC motor with servo control delivers smooth, linear power even under changing loads. High torque at low speeds means precise control for rehabilitation; top-end capacity handles 30 km/h sprints and incline-simulated climbs.

Rubberized slat belt โ€” 90% shock absorption

Rubberized slats provide up to 90% shock absorption, creating a natural, joint-friendly running experience. The slat design is what separates the Citius from conventional plastic-and-steel treadmills โ€” closer to a track than a treadmill under the foot.

Push & pull โ€” treadmill and strength device

Bidirectional operation. The push function is ideal for functional full-body strength, explosiveness, and endurance โ€” legs, glutes, core, and upper body work together to drive the running surface backward with adjustable force. One machine, two entirely different session types.

Speed & incline together

Where many premium treadmills offer either high speeds or incline functions, the Citius combines both. 30 km/h max speed, 25% max incline, 0.1 km/h precision throughout โ€” the treadmill covers rehab, endurance training, and sprint intervals on one platform.

Why the Citius earns treadmill flagship positioning

Fine woods and precision engineering

Crafted from fine woods and precision-engineered components. Reads as a piece of furniture in a design-forward home rather than a plastic-and-steel gym machine hidden in a garage.

Rehab pace to sprint pace on one tread

0.1 km/h resolution means the same treadmill supports gait rehabilitation at 1 km/h and 30 km/h sprint work in the same session. The motor's high low-speed torque is what makes the low end actually usable โ€” not a rehab afterthought.

Two treadmills in one

Push-mode strength training on a treadmill is rare. The Citius turns a cardio machine into a full-body sled-push equivalent โ€” same footprint, twice the training modes.

Made in Germany, six wood finishes

Manufactured entirely in Germany. Six NOHRD wood finishes โ€” Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Shadow, Vintage, Club โ€” so the treadmill matches the room it lives in rather than fighting it.

Frequently asked questions

Up to 30 km/h speed and up to 25% incline. Speed adjusts in 0.1 km/h increments across the full range โ€” precise enough for gait rehab at low speeds and sprint intervals at the top end.

The Citius runs in both directions. The push function lets you drive the running surface backward with adjustable force โ€” legs, glutes, core, and upper body all engaged simultaneously. Same treadmill, functional full-body strength training when you want it.

Up to 90%. The rubberized slats deliver a joint-friendly running experience closer to a track than to a conventional treadmill deck.

250 kg.

Six NOHRD finishes: Oak (architectural calm), Walnut (quiet luxury), Cherry (warm sophistication), Shadow (contemporary minimalism), Vintage (character and depth), and Club (classic contrast).

The Citius is motorized โ€” it drives the belt for you and supports incline. The Sprintbok is a curved, non-motorized treadmill where the user's own force propels the belt. Same brand, two different training modes: Citius for range and speed control, Sprintbok for effort-based curved-tread running.
