Organic kids mattress

PlushBeds Organic Kids Mattress

The PlushBeds Organic Kids Mattress is a 6 in. organic latex mattress for a child's bed, built from organic cotton, organic wool and organic latex. Its full height is GOLS certified Arpico organic latex, a solid core with no polyurethane foam or memory foam. At 8 out of 10, the medium-firm latex gives a child reliable support. A 2 oz layer of GOTS certified British organic wool works as the natural fire barrier. Over it, the GOTS certified organic cotton cover is stretched rather than woven for a softer surface. Twin, Twin XL and Full sizes are available.

How it works

Arpico organic latex core
The latex carries an Arpico firmness rating of D85. It gives the bed a durable base and absorbs motion as a child turns over.
British organic wool
Wool is naturally fire-resistant, which lets it serve as the fire barrier. It also helps keep a child at a comfortable temperature through the night.

Care

Looking after the latex

A waterproof mattress protector guards the latex against spills and accidents, and stains spot clean with mild detergent and water. Rotate the mattress regularly for even wear, and skip harsh cleaners that could damage the natural materials.
