PLAE AIR Collection

PLAE AIR Bike

The PLAE AIR Bike is an air resistance fan bike that works the arms and legs together in a natural, contralateral pattern, right arm with left leg. A precision fan flywheel meets every push and pull with matching resistance. The same bike handles an easy warm-up spin, repeat intervals and an all-out sprint, with nothing to adjust between them. Moving handles let you bias the effort through the arms, the legs or both. It runs on your effort alone, with no power cord and no installation, and the welded steel frame takes riders up to 375 lb.

PLAE built the AIR Bike to withstand continuous use. The console keeps its metrics simple and competitive, so a test can be repeated and compared from one session to the next.

Inside the AIR Bike

How it works

Resistance that matches your effort
The fan flywheel creates the resistance. Push and pull harder and it climbs at once; ease off and it drops, with no knob to set between rounds.
Effort-driven
Arms and legs in one movement
The handles move with the pedals in a cross-body pattern. Drive mostly through the arms, mostly through the legs, or both, and a coach can shift the work inside one session.
Full-body

Built for daily conditioning

Key features

No power needed
Runs on rider effort alone
Repeatable testing
Simple, competitive console metrics
