Squat & Rowing Trainer
The RIDER003 puts a squat and a row on the same rep. You drive up through your legs and glutes while pulling the handle through your back and arms, which means one machine loads the two halves of the body most home trainers make you split across two sessions. The movement stays low-impact throughout — there is no landing, so joints take less strain across the weeks of training that actually build something.
The carbon-steel frame carries up to 400 lb while the machine itself weighs 27.3 lb, and it folds upright when you are finished. Three resistance bands of different tension come in the box, so the load moves up as you do rather than staying where it started.
The Design
How the resistance is applied, and what the frame is asked to hold.
Why Athletes Choose This
Built For Training
The squat drives your legs, glutes and abdominals; the row pulls through your back, arms and core. Running both in one continuous motion is what makes a short session count — you are training the posterior chain and the pull pattern together instead of choosing one and postponing the other to a day that may not arrive. There is no impact phase anywhere in the rep, which is why this style of loading holds up over months of home training rather than a few enthusiastic weeks.
Two adjustments decide whether the rep trains what it is supposed to. The handle position moves to suit different heights, so the pull finishes where your back can do the work instead of your shoulders. The seat cushion slides to change your distance from the frame, which sets how deep the squat runs and keeps your posture honest at the bottom. The LCD monitor sits in front of you tracking workout metrics, so a session becomes a number you can beat next time rather than a vague memory of effort.
In use the RIDER003 stretches to 47.2" x 15.8" x 38.6". Folded, it stands up on a 16" by 15.7" patch of floor at 55.9" tall — the footprint of a floor lamp, in the gap behind a door or beside a wardrobe. At 27.3 lb you carry it there rather than drag it, and assembly is straightforward enough that the first setup is not the reason it stays in the box.
