SaunaBox · Full-Spectrum Infrared · Solara 2-Person

A 2-person full-spectrum infrared sauna with a full-body red light panel, six carbon ThermoCell heaters, and tool-free assembly.

Near, mid, and far-infrared wavelengths across six carbon-coated ThermoCell panels. 660nm / 850nm full-body red light therapy panel. 2,073W total power on a 20A NEMA 5-20 grounded outlet. 100% Canadian Hemlock interior with matte black painted hemlock exterior. Full-length reflective tempered glass door.

The Solara 2-Person is a full-spectrum infrared sauna built for two — a shared cabin engineered around six Carbon Coated ThermoCell panels emitting near, mid, and far-infrared wavelengths. The heaters penetrate directly into muscle tissue instead of warming the air around it, so the session works at 150°F where a traditional sauna would need 200°F+ to move the same fluid. A full-body 660nm / 850nm red light panel adds photobiomodulation to the same session — collagen stimulation, reduced inflammation, cellular repair. Canadian Hemlock walls inside, matte black painted hemlock outside, black-framed reflective glass door, slatted hemlock floor. Bluetooth, FM radio, and USB audio built in. RGB chromotherapy lighting strip. Runs off a 20A NEMA 5-20 grounded outlet — no dedicated 240V circuit, no electrician.

The technology behind heat, light, and audio in a shared cabin

Full-spectrum infrared — near, mid, far

Three infrared bands working together across six panels. Near-infrared (NIR) stimulates mitochondrial activity. Mid-infrared (MIR) drives circulation and pain relief. Far-infrared (FIR) penetrates deepest, supporting detoxification and thermoregulatory response. Not one wavelength doing part of the job — all three.

Six Carbon Coated ThermoCell heaters

The heat comes from six panels — front, sides, and back — rather than one large surface. Six emitters means more even distribution across a 2-person cabin, no cold spots at the shoulders or the back, and 1,800W of sauna power available where you actually sit.

Full-body red light panel — 660nm + 850nm

The red light panel spans the full body — not a small aiming lamp. 660nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared) wavelengths clinically associated with collagen stimulation, reduced inflammation, and cellular repair. Two therapies in one session.

Standard-circuit power — no dedicated hardwire

The Solara 2-Person runs off a 20A NEMA 5-20 grounded outlet — a standard American 120V circuit, not a hardwired 240V line. Total draw is 2,073W (1,800W sauna + 273W red light). No electrician, no permit, no wall-cut for the install.

Where infrared + red light shows up in the body

Muscle recovery and reduced soreness

Infrared heat penetrates into muscle tissue, improving oxygen delivery and reducing lactic acid buildup at the cellular level — speeding post-workout repair and reducing next-day soreness.

Sleep and nervous system regulation

Regular infrared sessions help regulate cortisol and shift the nervous system toward parasympathetic tone — making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. Heat triggers endorphin release and reinforces the wind-down.

Skin, collagen, and cellular repair

660nm and 850nm red light therapy boosts collagen production and improves skin tone — reducing fine lines, redness, and blemishes. Infrared sweating helps flush toxins and impurities through the skin.

Pain, inflammation, and joint mobility

Combined infrared and red-light exposure reduces oxidative stress and calms inflammation — relieving joint pain, soreness, and chronic fatigue symptoms. Circulation improvement supports healing at the cellular level.

A shared cabin, sized for two

Heat and light — in the same session

Most infrared saunas give you heat. The Solara gives you heat and light — simultaneously. Six Carbon Coated ThermoCell panels deliver 1,800W of full-spectrum infrared. A 273W full-body red light panel adds 660nm and 850nm wavelengths — collagen stimulation, inflammation reduction, cellular repair. Both therapies running in parallel, not on separate days.

SaunaBox Solara Bluetooth audio and RGB chromotherapy interior lighting

Bluetooth · FM radio · USB · RGB chromotherapy

The interior isn't just a heated box. Bluetooth pairs with a phone, FM radio picks up traditional stations, USB plays direct from a stick. Behind the wood, an RGB LED chromotherapy strip cycles through colors to set the atmosphere. The full-length reflective tempered glass door completes the visual finish.

Frequently asked questions

A traditional sauna heats the surrounding air (170–200°F+), which then warms your body indirectly. An infrared sauna uses infrared panels to emit radiant heat that penetrates the skin and underlying tissues directly, raising your core temperature more efficiently at lower ambient temperatures (typically 110–150°F). Result: comparable — often more intense — sweat with less cardiovascular strain.

Three wavelength bands operating together — near (NIR), mid (MIR), and far (FIR) infrared. Each penetrates to a different depth with distinct physiological effects: NIR stimulates mitochondrial activity, MIR drives circulation, FIR reaches deepest and supports detoxification. The Solara 2-Person delivers all three across six Carbon Coated ThermoCell heaters.

The 273W full-body panel delivers 660nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared) wavelengths — clinically associated with collagen stimulation, reduced inflammation, and cellular repair. The panel is full-body, not a small aiming lamp — the whole seated area is in the treatment field.

The Solara 2-Person plugs into a 20A NEMA 5-20 grounded outlet — a standard 120V US outlet on a 20A circuit. No hardwired 240V line, no electrician, no permit typically needed if the outlet already exists. Total draw is 2,073W (1,800W sauna + 273W red light).

Approximately 25 minutes to reach the 150°F max. The six ThermoCell panels heat evenly across the cabin, so you're not waiting on one large emitter to catch up.

External dimensions: 51" W × 41" D × 71" H. Internal: 50" W × 41" D × 70" H. Seats two adults side by side on a bench with a backrest. Net weight is 309 lb.

No — the Solara is indoor only. Materials, electrical components, and infrared panels are optimized for indoor environments. Leaving it outdoors risks damage and voids the warranty. For an outdoor cabin, see the Forge (traditional Finnish dry sauna).

Most infrared sessions run 20–45 minutes. Beginners should start around 15–20 minutes and build up gradually. The Solara's timer runs 0–90 minutes for full session control. Frequency: 3–5 times per week or daily, depending on health goals and how your body responds.

Three inputs: Bluetooth for phone or tablet, FM radio for local stations, and USB for a thumb drive. Pair a playlist, tune in a station, or plug in a mix — three ways to run audio during a session.

Interior is 100% Canadian Hemlock — light-toned, low-resin, low-odor, well-suited for sauna use. The exterior is matte black painted Canadian Hemlock. Slatted hemlock floor. Black hinges, handle, and hardware throughout.

1-year limited warranty. Claims are handled through SaunaBox customer service.
