Schiller Struts (Set of 4)

Four struts, the members that connect the frame of a Schiller S1-C Water Bike to its two pontoons. Schiller's description reads: set of four struts with push pins for connecting bike to pontoons. Push pins are included with this set, and Schiller also sells push pins on their own in fours.

The struts are the structural joint of the whole bike. Everything the rider weighs travels through them into the pontoons, and they are also the parts that come apart for the ten-minute breakdown and go back together at the water. That is a load-bearing component handled twice a ride, which is why Schiller stocks it as a spare. A bent or seized strut takes the bike off the water until it is replaced. Schiller publishes no material, dimension, weight or load rating for the struts, and names no bike model or model year on the parts page, so confirm the fit against your own bike before ordering.
