ID-Display™

The display shows the patient's name or ID — and the user's — pulled from a connected barcode scanner before the weight is captured. The reading is bound to the right record at the source, not reconciled after the fact.

Bearclaw Glass® platform

Seca's tested, break-resistant glass takes the place of the painted steel most clinical scales use. The mortality rate of many germ species on glass exceeds 99%, putting the surface in the same hygiene class as stainless steel while staying easier to wipe down. An anti-slip coating keeps the footing safe.

EMR-validated transmission

Adjustable damping for fast, precise reads on moving patients

The damping system is tunable rather than fixed. On a calm, cooperative patient, dial it down for a near-instant read. On a patient who can't hold still — pediatrics, geriatric care, post-procedure — bring damping up and let the scale settle the value rather than chase the motion. Auto-HOLD locks the reading at the right moment either way.

The ID-Display™ is the difference between a number and a record

Connect a USB barcode scanner, scan the patient wristband and the user badge, and the display confirms both before the read is taken. The weight, the time-stamp, and the identifiers are stored centrally and available to every authorised user. Mother+child mode and BSA / BMI auto-calculations handle the routine measurement variants without leaving the scale.

Most flat scales are designed around the median patient and break down at the edges of the range.
