Seca built the 813 bt around individual patient use cases where the scale needs to be both rugged and connected. The steel frame and tough rubber coating handle high weight and aggressive cleaning. The wide low-profile platform makes stepping on simple — including for patients who can't easily step over a lip. Once the read settles, Bluetooth sends the value to a connected app or device automatically, and the scale is compatible with Google Fit and Apple Health for trend tracking outside the clinic.
