Free Curbside Delivery

 Curbside Delivery ships via Freight to the 48 contiguous states. The freight carrier will contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery to set a delivery day and time Monday-Friday, with a 4-hour open window.

      They won’t deliver without speaking to you first. **Shipping times are only approximate, and can change depending on environmental conditions, transit issues, and carrier’s availability. Last minute appointments can occur, and it’s out of our hands since the delivery process is managed by the carrier’s. The sauna will be delivered in 1 box or more, depending on the model. All boxes will be strapped to a pallet. All saunas are delivered in a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who will unload the pallet to your curbside or driveway only. Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your sauna.

        Once the driver has unloaded the sauna, we ask that you immediately inspect the boxes for any damage. Please indicate any minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks to the outside of the boxes on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to inspect the sauna. The freight company will deliver your sauna to a carport or first-floor entryway. Please check the box dimensions and ensure it will fit through your doorway. Assembly on these saunas are surprisingly easy and can take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the sauna. Assembly instructions are included with the saunas.

The Hot Box Sauna

The Hot Box reaches 220°F on a standard household outlet. Both sizes run at 120V and 15 amps, which is the circuit your toaster uses. The Hot Box Sauna's claim for this is direct: they say they are the only sauna achieving traditional temperatures on standard household power.

What that removes from the project is the part most sauna buyers do not budget for. The Hot Box lists the avoided costs as $3,000 to $5,000 for an electrician to run a 220V line, $1,000 to $3,000 for a foundation, and $500 or more for a structure permit. Choose the Standard for one person up to 6'3", or the XL for two people, or one person up to 6'8" with room to lie down. Both assemble in about ten minutes and both flat-pack.

Four Things That Get 220°F Out Of A Wall Outlet

The Hot Box is on its seventh version, arrived at after more than 300 saunas delivered. Most of what changed in V7 is about holding heat, because the power budget is fixed at 15 amps on both sizes.

15 Amps On A Household Circuit
The whole design works backwards from one constraint: the sauna has to run on a circuit that already exists in your house. The Standard draws 1200 watts at maximum and the XL 1600, both at 120V and 15 amps. A 10-foot, 12-gauge American-made power cord ships with either size, specified to deliver full power to the heater without an extension cord in the way.

That is the width difference between the two sizes, and it is what the choice comes down to. The Standard is 30.5 inches wide and seats one person up to 6'3". The XL is 48 inches wide with 45 inches of interior, which The Hot Box rates for two people, and its 57-inch interior length is long enough for a single occupant to lie down for the session. Everything else is shared: same 220°F ceiling, same wall outlet, same ten-minute build.

The Hot Box's stated reason is to maximize how much heat and infrared reaches you, with an internal Faraday cage handling the safety side. It Comes Apart In Fifteen Minutes

A 60 by 48 inch XL cabin will not go through most interior doors assembled, and it does not have to. Both sizes break down into flat panels in 10 to 15 minutes and rebuild on a custom rail system in about ten. That covers getting the sauna into a basement or up a stairwell on the way in, and taking it with you when you move.

Two options are specified at order on either size. A window adds an opening to the cabin wall, and the Custom Sauna Mantra engraves up to 40 characters of your own text into the wood. Three questions decide it. How tall are you — the Standard is rated to 6'3" and the XL to 6'8". Will anyone use it with you — only the XL is rated for two people. And do you want to lie down — the XL's interior is 57 inches long against the Standard's 50. On footprint, the Standard is 30.5 inches wide and the XL is 48.
Yes, on both sizes. Input is 120V at 60Hz, drawing 15 amps, with a maximum of 1200 watts on the Standard and 1600 watts on the XL. That is a standard North American household outlet. A 10-foot, 12-gauge American-made power cord ships with the sauna, and The Hot Box specifies that length so you do not need an extension cord, which is the usual cause of voltage drop on a high-draw appliance. Give it a circuit it does not have to share with anything else that draws heavily.

At 4 feet 9 inches of interior length it is not a full lie-flat for a tall adult, so treat it as room to stretch out. The Standard's 50-inch interior is a seated cabin only.
