The HiRise Adapter kit has a weight limit of 600 lbs. 

The WaterRower HiRise adapter comes as a retrofit kit and attaches easily to all Wood WaterRower Models (see assembly instructions)

"Been using the WaterRower HiRise adapter for a bit now and it’s a small upgrade that makes a bigger difference than I expected. Raises the whole machine up about 8”, so getting on and off feels like a normal erg instead of lowering yourself onto the floor — especially nice mid-circuit when I’m hopping on and off between rounds. Install was straightforward, though heads up: the crossbars mount facing away from the machine body, which isn’t obvious from the pictures, so don’t force it the “intuitive” way. Once it’s on, the machine feels just as stable as it did at the original height — no wobble, no give. If you’re tall, or like me - do circuit training, or just tired of the low seated position, it’s a cheap fix that’s worth it."

"I am 6'4" and getting on and off my WaterRower was getting difficult and painful in my knees as I age. Just too low to the floor. This factory made kit raises the machine 8 " higher. What a difference! The kit is very well designed and made. High quality parts and finish make it a perfect update or the rower. Combined with the great purchase price from Recovery for Athletes this is highly recommended!"
