Once folded it takes 0.2 m² — 2.15 square feet — and it is stable stored flat under something or stood upright in a corner. Floor-safe wheels move the 27 kg frame across the room without lifting it and without scuffing what it rolls over. Fit the optional tabletop and the folded WR3L becomes a 34.5 cm-high side table, so the machine occupies space it was going to give back anyway. The frame is solid wood in a walnut finish rather than painted steel, which is why it reads as furniture in a living room instead of gym equipment parked in one. Comfort on a rower is a form problem before it is a padding problem. The oversized cushioned seat sits higher than the adjustable footplate, which makes leaning forward into the catch easier and keeps the load off your lower back on longer pieces. The footrests are angled at 45° to hold your ankles in a natural position through the drive. The 16.54" handle curves with your grip to keep wrist strain down, and its width lets you switch between a standard and a wide grip to work different back muscles.
