Beyond Cold Summit All-In-One Cold Plunge

Beyond Cold lists the Summit as made in the US and built in East Tennessee, by a company that builds and supports out of Knoxville. It is their flagship plunge and the only model of the three that carries its chiller inside the cabinet. One shell holds the tub, the 7,500 BTU chiller and the filtration system, and the plumbing between them stays internal. What sits in your garage or on your patio is a single piece of equipment with a power cord coming out of it.

It measures 75 in long, 36 in wide and 28 in tall, holds 96 gallons and gives a 27 in seated depth, the deepest of the three Beyond Cold plunges. Empty the Summit weighs 240 lb. Filled it weighs 1,040 lb, so choose the spot and confirm the floor or pad will carry that load before the water goes in.

Inside The Cabinet

One Unit, Four Published Numbers

Beyond Cold gives the Summit the same cooling hardware as their other two plunges and wraps it in a single integrated body. Here is what that hardware is and what it asks of the space around it.

🧊
Integrated chiller
The chiller is built into the Summit itself, so the connections stay internal and the unit arrives as one cabinet. It is the only Beyond Cold plunge built this way.
Integrated
❄️
7,500 BTU cooling
Beyond Cold rates the Summit's cooling power at 7,500 BTU across a temperature range of 37°F to 100°F. The exchanger is a titanium coil and the refrigerant is R-32.
37°F floor
💧
Larger filtration system
The Summit runs a larger filtration system than Beyond Cold's other plunges, which is one of the reasons they position it for higher-volume use. One filter ships with the unit and replacements are sold separately.
One filter included
🔌
One household circuit
Beyond Cold specifies 110-120V single phase at 3.9A and 450W for the Summit, the same electrical draw as their two external-chiller models even with the cooling gear inside the cabinet. The cord is 6 ft and a GFCI is included, which puts a hard limit on how far the cabinet can sit from an outlet.

Four Things Worth Knowing Before You Buy

Beyond Cold Summit all-in-one cold plunge
Integrated Design

The Chiller Lives Inside The Tub

Beyond Cold's other two plunges pair a tub with a chiller box that sits alongside it and connects by hose. The Summit puts the whole cooling system inside one cabinet, and Beyond Cold lists its connections simply as an integrated system. That changes what installation looks like: you place one object, level it, plug it in and fill it.

  • Integrated chiller style, one cabinet, internal connections
  • 75 in long × 36 in wide × 28 in tall
  • 240 lb empty and 1,040 lb full, so placement is effectively permanent
  • 6 ft cord with a GFCI included, outdoor rated

Filtration

A Larger Filtration System, And One Filter In The Box

Filtration is the Summit's other real separator. Beyond Cold builds it with a larger filtration system than their other plunges and points to that capacity as a reason the Summit suits heavier use. One filter ships with the unit. Replacement filters are sold separately, so keep a spare on hand and swap it on whatever schedule your own water and usage call for.

  • Larger filtration system than Beyond Cold's other two plunges
  • One filter included with the unit
  • Replacements available as the Beyond Cold Summit Filter
  • 96 gal of water under filtration

The Model Beyond Cold Rates For Heavier Traffic

Beyond Cold calls the Summit their flagship all-in-one system and says the combination of integrated design and filtration capacity makes it suitable for higher-volume use, including commercial applications where greater durability and filtration capacity are needed. Beyond Cold also reports collegiate and professional programmes using it. Those are Beyond Cold's positions on the product, and they are the reason the Summit sits at the top of the range.

Compare The Range

Three Plunges, One Chiller Spec

All three Beyond Cold plunges reach 37°F on the same 7,500 BTU chiller, so cold is settled and the decision is about form. Ask whether the tub has to pack down and travel, whether the chiller sits outside the tub or inside it, how deep you want to sit, and whether Beyond Cold rates the model for higher-volume use.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Beyond Cold publishes a temperature range of 37°F to 100°F for the Summit. Cooling power is 7,500 BTU through a titanium coil exchanger running R-32 refrigerant. Those are the same cooling figures Beyond Cold lists for all three of their plunges.
Beyond Cold is a Knoxville company, at 1157 Corridor Park Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932, and it builds and supports from there. Beyond Cold lists the Summit itself as made in the US and built in East Tennessee. Their broader sourcing wording keeps its qualifier, and so do we: the company prioritises American engineering, US-based support, and domestic assembly or manufacturing whenever possible. If the origin of a particular component decides your purchase, ask us before you order and we will put the question to Beyond Cold in writing.
No. Beyond Cold lists the Summit's chiller style as integrated and its connections as an integrated system. The cooling hardware sits inside the same cabinet as the tub, which makes the Summit the only all-in-one model in the Beyond Cold plunge range.
The Summit is 75 in long, 36 in wide and 28 in tall. Because the chiller is inside the cabinet, that footprint covers the whole system. Leave yourself working room around it for filling, covering and filter access.
240 lb empty and 1,040 lb full. That filled weight is the number that decides where the Summit can live. Confirm the deck, pad or floor will carry it, and settle the position before you add water, because moving a filled Summit means draining it first.
96 gallons, with a seated depth of 27 in. The seated depth is the more meaningful figure when you compare it to the Pursuit, since the two tubs are within a gallon of each other on volume.
A standard household circuit. Beyond Cold specifies 110-120V single phase, 3.9A, 450W, with a 6 ft cord and a GFCI included. Plan the placement around that 6 ft cord length and have an electrician confirm the outlet if you are running the Summit outdoors.
Yes. Beyond Cold lists the Summit as outdoor rated. It ships with an insulated cover for the tub. Give the cabinet clear air around it so the chiller can breathe, and keep the electrical connection protected.
Beyond Cold gives the Summit a sound rating of 56 dBA. That is the published figure for the unit; real-world loudness also depends on the surface it stands on and how enclosed the space is.
The Summit runs a larger filtration system than Beyond Cold's other plunges, and that capacity is part of why they position it for heavier use. One filter ships with the unit. Replacements are sold separately as the Beyond Cold Summit Filter. Beyond Cold publishes no replacement interval, so judge it on your own water and how often the tub is used.
The Summit tub with its integrated chiller, an insulated tub cover, one filter, and a one-year manufacturer warranty. Water treatment supplies are bought separately.
Beyond Cold describes the Summit as their flagship all-in-one system and says it can be considered for commercial applications where greater durability and filtration capacity are needed. They also report collegiate and professional programmes using it. If a facility setting is the plan, the Summit is the model in the range Beyond Cold points to; their other plunges are positioned for residential use.
Three things. The Summit's chiller is integrated into the cabinet while the Pursuit uses an external chiller. The Summit carries the larger filtration system. And Beyond Cold rates the Summit for higher-volume and possible commercial use, where the Pursuit is positioned for residential use. Capacity is close between them at 96 gal against 95 gal, so volume is the smallest of the differences.
Beyond Cold provides a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Repair or replacement is at Beyond Cold's discretion. Full terms and exclusions are published by Beyond Cold.
