The Chattanooga Cellex Dry Heat Media is the natural cellulose dry heat media for Chattanooga Fluidotherapy units, fine particles that heated air lifts until they behave like a low-viscosity fluid. It is processed to run efficiently in all Chattanooga Fluidotherapy units. Each 10 lb (4.5 kg) container is easy to store and handle, and a fill is counted in containers. The single extremity unit takes approximately 30 lb (13.6 kg), which is three, and the double approximately 40 lb (18.1 kg), which is four. Cellex is environmentally safe and easily disposable.

It fills the Fluidotherapy extremity unit in both builds, the single FLU110D and the double FLU115D, under one part number, MED0001. A new unit arrives with 30 lb of Cellex included, so a double takes one more container for a full charge. The required maintenance schedule calls for a full change of the Cellex medium at the six-month service, so a single unit takes three containers at each change and a double takes four. Use only Cellex dry heat medium in a Fluidotherapy unit: problems will occur in a Fluidotherapy system if a non-processed media is used.
