A one-of-a-kind riding experience

Garmin Tacx Neo Bike Smart Trainer

The Garmin Tacx Neo Bike Smart Trainer is a smart bike that lets you train your way, with virtual shifting and gear feel. Virtual gears change instantly, with the gear shown on the front display. Two interactive fans follow your power and heart rate, and the setup adjusts to match your fit. Dynamic inertia and a power reading within 1% keep the ride realistic. Road feel reproduces cobblestone and gravel in compatible apps, including the Tacx Training app. Descent simulation works when the bike is connected to an external power source, and sprints reach 2,200 watts.

As we spend more and more time riding indoors, the demand for high quality, immersive riding experiences keeps growing. The Tacx Neo Bike Smart Trainer is built to create an unprecedented, one of a kind and immersive riding experience. The Neo Bike is equipped with amazing features like virtual shifting, gear feel, and descent simulation. The Neo Bike also features a 4.5 in. display, full pedal, saddle, bar tape, and crank customization, along with interactive air fans that adjust to your power and heart rate. When you purchase the Tacx Neo Bike you get a free 1-month Tacx Premium subscription for the Tacx Training app. If you don't feel like using the Tacx Training app, the Neo Bike is compatible with Zwift, TrainerRoad and Sufferfest. Pedals are not included with the Neo Bike.

The feel of a real bike

How it works

Dynamic inertia
This smart bike simulates your outdoor ride indoors. Dynamic inertia compensates for weight, speed and angle of inclination, unlike the fixed mass inertia of a flywheel, and gives a realistic and smooth ride.
Virtual shifting
Like your road bike, the NEO Bike shifts gears, but virtual ones. Press the up or down buttons on the shifters to change the gearing of your virtual drivetrain instantly, and a clear display at the front shows which gear you are in.
Road and gear feel
Feel cobblestones and shifting gears as vibrations from different road patterns and your virtual chain jumping into a different gear, in Tacx Films and Zwift. The bike also accelerates when you ride into a descent.
Pedal analysis
The NEO Bike Smart measures the position of your left and right leg, so you can measure and analyze your pedaling technique to develop a more effective pedal stroke.

Nice trainer

"Solid construction, nice features."

— Nicholas R. (4/5)

"Fast shipping great bike for zwift and other apps Easy setup"

— Bradley (5/5)

"We expected this bike would work for both my wife and I. We are 5’3 and 5’9 respectively. There is insufficient height adjustment for the seat to enable my wife to use the bike. Competing products from Wattbike and Wahoo clearly identify the height or frame size that the bike can adjust to. For this Tacx product you need to find the saddle height minimum in a setup document and add the crank arm length to find the minimum rider height. Those numbers are 640mm plus 170mm which is just too much for my wife. I myself ride with the seat adjusted to the third lowest setting. We thought about returning it, but we’d have to pack and ship it. Wattbike will come to your house to get the bike if you want to return it, Tacx you need your ship it yourself. There are a few features on the next level bike I wish this one had including the handlebar/shifter design. I also wish this one supported crank arm lengths less than 170mm. I will keep the bike, but it’s only half as useful as we expected."

Fast delivery and great price!

"I ordered the Tacx Neo Smart Bike and was delivered within 5 days. Exactly as advertised and promised plus was 600$ cheaper than anywhere else. Great company and definitely will be using these people again! No hassle and no issues. 5 stars! Darren Seattle, WA"

— Darren H. (5/5)

WAY AWESOME!

"Incredible experience. The HD routes in the software and the interface of Garmin’s mapping create an incredible experience that is as absolutely close to being there. When you get up on the peddles to climb and the fans pick up to support the simulation of your speed you can almost believe you awe actually there. The bike itself is solid as a rock and you can match your bike set up precisely. This is in another category from bike trainers or a Peleton. This is for true cyclists who want to stay in the saddle when they can’t get outside. Great product, great experience."

— Robert G. (5/5)

The best trainer

"You guys out there may think on different trainers but tacx neo bike trainer is something that you don’t need anything else just a good set of legs don’t forget get a good set of pedals too and you ready to go"

— Armando M. (5/5)

I love my Tacx!

"I have been cycling for about 3 years and every winter I seemed to go into hibernation mood and would loose the gains I made from the previous season. Well I said “ not this time” This trainer will be a game changer! It is well built, was easy for my husband to put together 🤣 and the features are great. If you are on the fence, go for it, you won’t be disappointed."

— Sonja W. (5/5)

Awesome bike and phenomenal customer service!

"I'm pretty new to cycling, and was looking for a way to get/stay in shape over the winter. I decided to splurge and just buy a smart bike rather than a smart trainer (I'm not handy, and I'm lazy, there's no way I'd be taking my bike on/off a trainer on a regular basis). I'm very happy with the purchase, the bike is great. It's very sturdy, the fans on front are nice, and I've had no problems with it. I'll also add that the customer service from Recovery for Athletes is phenomenal. I've never purchased anything from here before, and I was a little hesitant spending $3000 on a website I'd never used before, but I was having problems finding the bike elsewhere so I went for it. I had originally purchased the expert setup (since it's heavy and I live alone), but then I ended up finding someone to help me before the setup person would be coming out. I emailed the company and within hours they'd emailed me back and refunded the setup fee. Fabulous service and I'd absolutely order from the site again!"
