Icing On The Go
The Hyperice Back Cold Compression Wrap is an ice wrap that straps an ice cell across the lower back and holds it there hands-free. Icing a back is awkward: the area is broad and hard to reach, and holding anything against it means lying down and staying there. The wrap solves the holding part, so you can stand up and carry on while the ice works. Squeezing the air out through a patented valve lets the ice lie flat against the skin. The box holds the wrap and the ice cell, with nothing to charge and nothing to plug in.
Inside the machine washable Plush neoprene shell sits an ultra-thin antimicrobial ice cell. The ice cell with its air-release valve comes from the product line that started it all. It is the design Hyperice built its name on, before any of the vibrating or heated products existed.
Ice For The Lower Back
Each part exists because loose ice on a back slides and needs a hand holding it.
Hyperice Back In Use
Fill the cell, open the valve, press the air out, close it. What is left is a thin sheet of ice that takes the shape of your lower back and meets it across the whole area. The valve is patented, and it is the reason the wrap sits flat under clothing.
The wrap closes around the torso and the cell sits against the lower back, held by the tension of the neoprene. From there it stays put through standing, sitting and walking around the house, so icing your back goes where you go.
Hyperice Back Compared
Both wraps pair a Plush neoprene shell with an ultra-thin ice cell and an air-release valve. Each is cut for a different part of the body, and the cut decides where the wrap holds on.
