Hyperice Vyper Go

The Vyper Go is the compact vibrating foam roller in the Hyperice range. It measures 10.6 × 3.9 × 3.9 in and weighs 2 lbs, which is small enough to sit in a gym bag next to your shoes and narrow enough to work on a calf or a forearm the way a full-diameter roller cannot.

A high-torque 26W motor drives three speeds of vibration through a contoured body, and the battery runs up to 2 hours per charge. It pairs over Bluetooth to the Hyperice App, where guided sessions come with advice from athletes, trainers and performance advisors.

Power Balanced Against Portability

Every figure on this page belongs to the Vyper Go itself. It is a smaller roller with a smaller motor than the full-size Vyper 3, and the trade it makes is a deliberate one.

🎒
10.6 in body, 2 lbs
The 3.9 in diameter is the number that changes how it feels. A narrower roller puts your bodyweight through a smaller contact patch, which suits a calf, a forearm or the arch of a foot better than a full-diameter cylinder does.

High-torque 26W motor
26 watts inside a 2 lb shell. The motor is sized to the body it drives, and torque is what keeps the vibration going once you put your weight on top of the roller.

3 speeds of vibration
Three settings from one button. Hyperice states the speed count but publishes no frequency in Hz or RPM, so the settings step up in intensity relative to each other, with no measured figure to compare across brands.

Bluetooth and the Hyperice App
The Vyper Go connects over Bluetooth for automated speed control, so a guided session in the app can change the setting as it moves you from quads to calves. The roller runs on its own button with no phone in the room.

One end cap, one button, three speeds

The end cap carries the whole interface. Press once to wake the roller, press again to step through the three vibration speeds. Nothing to read and nothing to aim at, which is the right decision for a device you operate blind with your weight on it.

Perfectly placed contours on a narrow body

Hyperice describes the surface as perfectly placed contours, and on a 3.9 in roller they do more work than they would on a wide one. The raised sections concentrate pressure into a strip, and the recesses give bone somewhere to go, so the roller stays on muscle along a shin or a forearm.

  • The 3.9 in diameter suits calves, forearms and feet

What comes in the box

Three items. The roller, the power supply that charges it, and three additional plug adapters, which is the tell that this model was designed around a suitcase. The listing states the Vyper Go is approved by TSA for carry-on.

  • Vyper Go: the roller itself
  • Power supply: to keep your device charged and ready to go
  • Additional plug adapters (3): to charge your device no matter where you are
  • TSA approved: the listing describes it as approved by TSA for carry-on

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Weight 2 lbs. Battery 2 hours. Size 10.6 × 3.9 × 3.9 in. Motor high-torque 26W. Speed 3 speeds of vibration. Bluetooth connection to the Hyperice App for automated speed control. The Specs tab on this page carries the same list.
Size is 10.6 × 3.9 × 3.9 in. The diameter is the figure to look at: at 3.9 in this is a narrow roller, so it presses into a smaller area and reaches muscles that a standard wide cylinder passes over.
2 lbs, motor and battery included. That is the weight of a full water bottle, which is the practical reason this model gets packed while a bigger roller stays at home.
3 speeds of vibration, cycled from the button on the end cap. No vibration frequency in Hz or RPM is published for the Vyper Go, so the three settings are best read as low, middle and high.
A high-torque 26W motor. Wattage is the only motor figure given. It sits below the 34W in the full-size Vyper 3, which is consistent with a roller that is shorter, narrower and 0.7 lbs lighter.
2 hours of run time on a full charge. No charge time is published, so treat charging as an overnight job.
Three items: the Vyper Go itself, a power supply to keep your device charged and ready to go, and additional plug adapters (3) so it charges wherever you are.
Because Hyperice built this one for the road. The additional plug adapters (3) cover the common wall standards, so a roller you took on a flight still charges at the other end without a converter in your bag.
This listing states TSA approved: approved by TSA for carry-on. At 10.6 in and 2 lbs it fits a carry-on comfortably. Screening decisions are made by the agency at your departure airport, so check locally if you are flying somewhere with unusual rules.
Yes. It connects via Bluetooth to the Hyperice App for automated speed control. The app is where the guided sessions live, with advice from athletes, trainers and performance advisors. Pairing is optional and the roller runs on its own button without it.
Where the roller lives decides it. The Vyper Go is 10.6 × 3.9 × 3.9 in at 2 lbs on a 26W motor, sized for a bag and for smaller muscles. The Vyper 3 is 13 × 5.4 × 5.4 in at 2.7 lbs on a 34W motor, sized for a whole quad and a full pass down the back. Both give three speeds and both pair to the app.
You can, though the geometry favours other areas. A 3.9 in diameter sits lower to the floor and covers a narrower band than a full-size roller, so it works one side of the back at a time. For long passes down the back, the wider Vyper 3 is the better shape.
The smaller ones. Calves, shins, forearms, feet and the sides of the thighs all sit well on a 3.9 in body, because a narrow roller keeps your weight over a smaller contact area.
Useful to know before you line it up against another brand's spec sheet: there is no vibration frequency in Hz or RPM, no charge time, no shell material, no auto shut-off timer and no warranty term published for this roller. Everything stated on this page comes from the listing itself.
