iRESTORE | Half Body LED Panels

iRESTORE Apex Pro 1500 Half Body LED Panel - 300 Five-Watt LEDs

The iRESTORE Apex Pro 1500 is a half body LED panel carrying 300 five-watt LEDs across eight wavelengths, from 590 nm amber through 630 nm, 660 nm, 810 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm to 1060 nm in the near-infrared. The panel measures 36 in. by 12 in. by 3 in., weighs 24 lb and puts out more than 200 mW/cm2 at a distance of 6 in. Six preset modes run between 10 and 30 minutes, and the timer can be set anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes if none of the six is the length you want.

Everything needed to get the panel up and running arrives with it: blackout goggles, a door hook, a magnetically attachable remote control, hanging hardware, a power cable, a multi-panel cable and a cable assembly with snap links. The door hook is the mounting that ships in the box, so an Apex Pro 1500 can hang on the back of a door the day it lands, and the four Apex stands are each bought separately.

One floor stand is built for this panel and it is the white Apex Floor Stand. The black Apex Floor Stand belongs to the Apex Elite 2160, and the two are not cross-compatible, so on a floor stand the colour selects the panel the frame will hold instead of the finish of the room it sits in. The Apex Universal Stand and the Apex Motorized Stand take either panel, and on those two the colour really is a finish.

The Apex panels carry a 10 year iRESTORE warranty, and the iRESTORE return window on an Apex panel runs 60 days from delivery.

The hardware

Three Hundred Five-Watt LEDs Across Eight Wavelengths

Count, wattage, wavelength and distance are the four figures that describe what an Apex Pro 1500 puts out, and all four are fixed in the panel before you ever pick a mode.

01

Three Hundred LEDs Rated at Five Watts

The Apex Pro 1500 carries 300 LEDs and each one is a five-watt emitter, set in a grid that fills a 36 in. by 12 in. face. Nothing on the panel aims, sweeps or moves, so the count and the spacing are the whole of the emitter layout. The array puts out more than 200 mW/cm2 at a working distance of 6 in. from the face of the panel, and the Apex Elite 2160 reaches the same figure from 432 emitters.

300 LEDs

02

Amber at 590 Nanometres and Seven More

Eight wavelengths are built into the same array: 590 nm in the amber, then 630 nm and 660 nm in the red, and 810 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, 940 nm and 1060 nm in the near-infrared. The Apex Elite 2160 runs the same eight, so the wavelength set is common to both Apex panels and the emitter count is where they part company.

Eight wavelengths

03

A Timer You Can Set to One Minute

Six preset modes come loaded on the panel and they run between 10 and 30 minutes. Alongside them sits an adjustable timer with a range of 1 to 30 minutes, so a session can be cut to a single minute or stretched to the full half hour without using a preset at all. The remote that sets both attaches to the panel magnetically and comes off again when you want it in your hand.

1 to 30 minutes

04

Twenty-Four Pounds Over Thirty-Six Inches

The panel is 36 in. long, 12 in. wide and 3 in. deep, and it weighs 24 lb. That puts it 7 lb under the Apex Elite 2160, which matters at the point where the panel goes on a door hook or gets lifted onto a stand. The door hook and the hanging hardware both ship in the box, and a floor stand, a universal stand or a motorized stand is bought on top.

Feature by feature

The Door Hook Comes in the Box

The figures that describe an Apex Pro 1500 run from the emitter count to the term of the warranty, and a buyer choosing between two half body panels is weighing that whole set against the other.

01

Three Hundred Five-Watt Emitters

The Apex Pro 1500 carries 300 LEDs and every one of them is rated at five watts.

02

Eight Wavelengths on One Face

590 nm, 630 nm, 660 nm, 810 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, 940 nm and 1060 nm all sit in the same array.

03

Two Hundred Milliwatts at Six Inches

The panel puts out more than 200 mW/cm2 when you stand 6 in. from its face.

04

Six Presets From Ten to Thirty Minutes

Six modes come loaded on the panel and each one runs somewhere between 10 and 30 minutes.

05

A Remote That Sticks to the Panel

The remote control attaches magnetically to the panel and lifts off when you want it in hand.

06

Blackout Goggles Ship With It

Eye protection blackout goggles arrive in the box with every Apex panel iRESTORE sells.

07

The White Floor Stand Holds One Panel

The white Apex Floor Stand takes a single Apex Pro 1500 and rolls on four locking swivel casters.

08

Ten Years of Cover

iRESTORE warrants the Apex panels for 10 years and takes returns within 60 days of delivery.

In detail

How an Apex Pro 1500 Gets Mounted

The array

Three Hundred Emitters on a Fixed Grid

All 300 LEDs face the same way out of a 36 in. by 12 in. front, so a half body panel covers far more of you at once than a mask or a belt does. Each emitter is a five-watt part and all eight wavelengths live in the same grid, so the mode you choose decides which of them light rather than where they point. A multi-panel cable ships with the panel, and it is the cable that joins one Apex Pro 1500 to the next when you run a pair of them together.

  • 300 LEDs, five watts each
  • A 36 in. by 12 in. emitting face
  • Eight wavelengths built into one array
  • Multi-panel cable supplied for running a pair

The remote

Six Presets Picked From a Magnetic Remote

The remote control sets the presets and the timer, and it holds itself to the panel with a magnet, so it sits on the frame between sessions and comes away when you want to set something from a few feet back. Six preset modes are loaded in and each runs between 10 and 30 minutes. The adjustable timer sits alongside them with a 1 to 30 minute range, so a short session and a full half hour are both a couple of presses away.

  • Magnetically attachable remote control
  • Six preset modes, 10 to 30 minutes
  • Adjustable timer, 1 to 30 minutes
  • No pulsing on this panel

The floor stand

The White Floor Stand Is the One for This Panel

The white Apex Floor Stand holds one panel and it is built for the Apex Pro 1500. The black Apex Floor Stand is the frame built for the Apex Elite 2160, and the two are not cross-compatible, so the colour on a floor stand is the model selector and the wrong one will not take this panel. A stand sent back without a panel is non-refundable, final sale, and four locking swivel casters sit under the white stand.

  • Black Apex Floor Stand: Apex Elite 2160 only

More than one panel

Four Panels Fit on the Motorized Stand

Two other stands exist and neither of them cares which Apex panel you own. The Apex Universal Stand carries one or two panels at any height from 38.4 in. to 53.5 in., rotates through 360 degrees and takes a panel horizontally or vertically. The Apex Motorized Stand supports up to 4 panels, raises and lowers on a remote and holds 3 programmable memory positions, and on both of those frames black and white are one stand with one fitment.

  • The Universal Stand takes 1 to 2 panels
  • Universal Stand height range, 38.4 in. to 53.5 in.
  • The Motorized Stand supports up to 4 panels
  • Three programmable memory positions on the Motorized Stand
Up to four panels 38.4 to 53.5 in.

Safety

Wear the Goggles Every Session

Four lines ship with the Apex panels and all four are worth reading before the first session runs.

  • Do not use if you are pregnant, have active cancer, hyperthyroidism, acute inflammation, high fever, or bleeding tendencies without consulting a healthcare provider.
  • Always wear the included blackout eye-protection goggles, especially during face or upper-body sessions.
  • Users must be 18 years or older.
  • Exceeding recommended session times may cause mild skin warmth or redness.

The goggles arrive in the box with the panel, so the eye protection named in that second line is already with you on day one.

The family

Two Apex Half Body Panels Side by Side

Two panels share a wavelength set, a size and a warranty term, and they differ on emitter count, weight, pulsing and the floor stand built for each one.

Questions

Questions Before You Hang One on a Door

300 LEDs, each one rated at five watts, set across a 36 in. by 12 in. face. The Apex Elite 2160 carries 432 of the same emitters, and that count is the main hardware difference between the two panels.

Eight of them: 590 nm amber, 630 nm and 660 nm red, and 810 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, 940 nm and 1060 nm in the near-infrared. Both Apex panels carry the same eight.

The six preset modes run between 10 and 30 minutes. The adjustable timer covers 1 to 30 minutes, so a session can be set to any length inside that range without picking a preset.

24 lb, in a panel measuring 36 in. by 12 in. by 3 in. The Apex Elite 2160 is the same size and 31 lb, so the Apex Pro 1500 is the lighter of the two to lift onto a stand or a door hook.

The white Apex Floor Stand, which holds one panel and rolls on four locking swivel casters. The black Apex Floor Stand is built for the Apex Elite 2160 and the two are not cross-compatible.

No. The black floor stand is the Apex Elite 2160 stand and the white one is the Apex Pro 1500 stand. On the floor stands the colour is the model selector, and a stand sent back without a panel is non-refundable, final sale, so picking the wrong colour is an expensive way to match a room.

Yes. The Apex Universal Stand takes one or two panels at heights from 38.4 in. to 53.5 in., and the Apex Motorized Stand supports up to 4 panels. Colour is a finish on both of those stands.

The panel, eye protection blackout goggles, a door hook, a magnetically attachable remote control, hanging hardware, a power cable, a multi-panel cable and a cable assembly with snap links.

Blackout goggles are in the box, and iRESTORE's own instruction is to always wear the included blackout eye-protection goggles, especially during face or upper-body sessions. The blackout goggles in the box are the pair that instruction names. The Apex VisionGuard Glasses are a separate accessory and they are not blackout goggles, so they do not stand in for the pair supplied with the panel.

No. Adjustable pulsing from 0 to 40 Hz belongs to the Apex Elite 2160 alone. Both panels share the eight wavelengths, the six presets, the 1 to 30 minute timer and the 36 in. by 12 in. by 3 in. body.

Use the door hook that ships with it, or the hanging hardware in the same box. Both arrive with the panel, so a stand is only needed if you want the panel to roll or to change height.

10 years on the panel, and the Apex Elite 2160 carries the same term. The iRESTORE return window on an Apex panel is 60 days from delivery.
