Jugs | Complete Practice Travel Screen
The Jugs Complete Practice Travel Screen is a portable hitting screen built for coaches and players on the go, with travel ball teams in mind. It weighs 25 lbs and sets up in under 2 minutes with no tools. That keeps it coming to every practice instead of living in one cage. The 7-foot frame carries a 6.5 ft. x 6.5 ft. hitting sock, an oversized target for catching balls during tee work, toss or batting practice. A removable flip-over strike zone turns it into a pitching target, and everything packs into the included 30 in. heavy-duty nylon travel bag.
With a sock that size, a hitter can take a full round without chasing balls: 42 square feet of blue nylon netting takes the mishit off the end of the bat as readily as the one struck clean, and the ball stays in the net.
The frame runs on 5/8 in. fiberglass poles, flexible but strong for stable support and easy setup, and the base is 1 in. steel base tubing that adds durability and prevents tipping even in windy conditions. The base design allows setup on grass, turf or gym floors without slipping or tipping, so the same screen works in a cage in February and on an outfield in May. The bag carries a shoulder strap. It suits backyard players, youth leagues, high schools and colleges.
How it is built
Fiberglass poles on a steel base hold up a nylon sock that catches the ball and drops it at the foot of the screen.

Closer look
The hitting sock is an oversized target area ideal for catching balls during tee work, toss or batting practice. The netting is blue nylon, durable and weather-resistant for long-lasting use. A hitter working on driving the ball the other way sends balls sideways, and a sock this size catches them. Under the 7-foot frame there is enough height and width to take a full round from a tee or a front-toss station without anyone chasing.
The frame pairs 5/8 in. fiberglass poles, flexible yet strong for stable support and easy setup, with 1 in. steel base tubing that adds durability and prevents tipping even in windy conditions. Putting the two materials where they are keeps a 7-foot screen at 25 lbs, and steel belongs at ground level, where its weight stops the screen from going over. Assembly follows the parts in order: snap the leg-base together on its buttons, hook the sock loops over both risers, and drop the top assembly into the risers. Seven carabiners hold the sock at the corners, velcro strips hold its sides, and the strike zone fastens to sewn rings at the top.
The base design allows setup on grass, turf or gym floors without slipping or tipping. It makes this a year-round screen for a program in a cold state: the same base that sits in an outfield in May sits on a gym floor in January without stakes and without marking the boards. It packs into a 30 in. heavy-duty nylon travel bag with a shoulder strap, built for travel teams, and goes back up in under 2 minutes at the other end. A removable flip-over strike zone comes with it for pitchers and accuracy drills.
Compare
Both fold into a bag and both travel. The Complete Practice Travel Screen is the built frame with a 6.5 ft. x 6.5 ft. hitting sock; the Instant Screen is the pop-open one at under 14 lbs.
