Jugs Protector Blue Series Short-Toss Protective Screen

The Jugs Protector Blue Series Short-Toss Protective Screen is a padded protective screen for short-toss training and front-toss drills, 7 ft. high and 4 ft. wide with solid net and no cutout. An adjustable overhang at the top of the frame deflects balls that ricochet back over a flat screen at a feeder sitting close to the plate.

Blue vinyl-covered padding sits on a 1.2 mm steel frame with 60 ply double-thick netting. Ten carriage bolts and one 1/2 in. wrench put the frame together, and the bolted joints make repairs easy later. The 4 ft. width fits inside a cage tunnel without crowding the hitter. A 2-year guarantee on the frame and a 1-year guarantee on the netting. The Protector Series Short-Toss Screen covers the same position on the black frame with 691-90 ply netting. For fungo work, where a coach hits fly balls, and for group work, the Protector Blue Series 8-Foot Screen is the same series at 8 ft. by 8 ft.
