Jugs Protector Series L-Shaped Protective Screen

The Jugs Protector Series L-Shaped Protective Screen is a padded protective screen for pitching machine operators and batting practice throwers. A 7 ft. by 7 ft. panel with a 3 ft. by 3 ft. cutout at the throwing shoulder lets a coach throw overhand from behind cover. The L cut keeps the front leg and the follow-through inside the netting. That wider window suits overhand baseball batting practice better than the tighter C-shape.

The black Protector Series build is 1.5 in. diameter 1020 cold-rolled steel tubing with a 2 mm wall, every joint double-bolted, 691-90 ply double-thick poly-E netting, and half-inch pearl-foam padding under black vinyl on the frame face. The Protector Series Wheel Kit comes standard and lets one person roll the screen into place. A 5-year guarantee on the frame and a 2-year guarantee on the netting. The 3 ft. cutout is the largest on any Jugs screen, and the Protector Blue Series L-Shaped Screen shares it on a lighter 1.2 mm frame.
