Jugs Sting-Free Practice Softball 12" - Dozen

The Jugs Sting-Free Practice Softball 12" - Dozen is a seamed 12 in. Sting-Free softball with a leather-like feel and none of the sting. A realistic seam lets one bucket cover the whole practice. A coach can throw it from the front and a pitcher from the circle, and the same balls go into the machine afterwards, indoors or out. They come in Game-Ball yellow, by the dozen or in a 24-ball bucket.

It is the same size and weight as a leather softball, so nothing about your machine setup changes. The Sting-Free compound feels like leather off the barrel and will not sting a hitter's hands, even at high pitching machine speeds, and it will not damage composite bats. A durable polyurethane build holds that regulation size and weight through repeated use. For machine-only work the Sting-Free Dimple Ball Softball 12 in. gives a dimpled cover instead, and for high-velocity BP the Multi-Use Light-Weight Sting-Free Softball drops to 4.75 oz.
