Skin IQ: 3D Skin Analyzer

The Skin IQ is a skin analysis unit for the consultation room. A 15 megapixel camera scans in three spectra, RGB, UV and PL, so the same face is captured in normal, polarized and UV lighting. Automatic face recognition positions the capture, and a scan returns 12 analysis items in 20 seconds. Results show on a 10.1 inch screen, with whole-face, left and right, and up and down comparison views.

The unit does not treat. It measures and records, and every decision that follows stays with the practitioner. Readings move off the machine by WiFi, SD card, USB port or Bluetooth, and the software updates itself. The housing measures 42 x 36 x 56 cm and weighs 8 kg net, drawing 45W at 110 to 230 VAC.
