Keiser Bike Dumbbell Holder

The Keiser Bike Dumbbell Holder carries two hand weights of up to 5 lb apiece on the frame of a Keiser M3 or a Keiser M3i. Both bikes are written into its full product title, the M3/M3i Dumbbell Holder. A set of weights then lives on the bike and stays off the floor beside it. Dumbbells and the indoor bike are not included. The holder mounts on the frame tube below the plunger knob housing, bonded down with adhesive and secured by a single screw. On a frame that is ready for it, the fitting is a job of minutes.

Whether your frame is ready for it depends on when the bike was built. A bike built from May 2016 onward has a tapped hole waiting in the tube and takes the screw straight away. An older frame has no hole, and it has to be drilled and tapped first with Keiser's drill fixture kit, plus a tap handle and tap lubricant of your own. That fixture kit is a separate Keiser item, ordered from Keiser, and a pre-2016 bike needs it before this holder will go on at all.
