NOHrD | WallBars accessory
The NOHRD WallBar Bench is an incline workout bench that hangs on the rungs of the NOHRD WallBar, measuring 136 x 33 cm (53.5 x 13 in.) and weighing 15 kg (33 lb). It hooks onto any rung up to a height of 95 cm (37.4 in.), and the rung you choose sets the angle of the bench, so a single part covers flat-ish pressing at the bottom of the panel through to a steep incline near the top. It arrives ready to use with no assembly, and it needs no adapter of any kind: the hooks meet the rung directly. Two coverings are offered, an artificial leather and a genuine black leather, and the padded frame underneath is identical between them.
It fits the NOHRD WallBar and nothing else. Both rung counts take it, the 10-bar panel with its 18 cm spacing and the 14-bar panel with 10 cm spacing, and the closer spacing simply gives you more angles to choose between. When the session ends the bench hangs vertically on the bars, which is where it stores, and in that position it also works as a back support for standing exercises against the panel. None of it sits on the floor between sessions.
Both coverings sit over the same 136 x 33 cm padded frame, and the hooked wooden sides carry the same hard wax oil finish NOHrD uses across the WallBar range, so a bench reads with the panel it hangs on. Everything it carries passes through the rungs into the WallBar and from there into the wall, so the figure to plan around is the WallBar's own 120 kg (265 lb) maximum user weight, with the bench's 15 kg on top of it. NOHrD backs the bench for one year from shipment, extended to two years on components and wooden components when you register inside that first year.
Fitment
A bench that hangs off a ladder has no adjustment mechanism to go wrong, because the adjustment is the ladder. Moving the hooks up one rung steepens the incline, moving them down flattens it, and the whole change takes a few seconds with the bench in your hands.
01
The bench hooks onto any rung of a NOHRD WallBar up to a hanging height of 95 cm (37.4 in.), and that band is where all of its working positions live. Low on the panel the frame sits close to flat for pressing and rowing, and higher up it steepens into an incline for upper-chest and shoulder work. A 14-bar panel gives 10 cm steps between positions where a 10-bar panel gives 18 cm, so the finer ladder buys you finer angles.

02
The hooks on the bench meet the rung directly, so nothing else has to be bought before it will hang. One part in the same range does carry a dependency, which is worth knowing before you order: the WallBars Desk is used in combination with the Multi-Adapter and cannot hang without it. The bench, the Extension, the Locking Set and the CombiTrainer all hook straight on.
Hooks direct
03
Between sessions the bench hangs vertically on the WallBar, flat against the panel, which means a 136 cm bench occupies no floor at all in a room that is not being trained in. In that vertical position it doubles as a back support for standing exercises worked against the bars. A wall-hung bench lets a spare bedroom carry a pressing position and still be a spare bedroom.

The padded top runs the full 136 x 33 cm (53.5 x 13 in.) of the frame, which is long enough to support head, shoulders and hips on an incline press and narrow enough to leave the shoulder blades free to move. Two coverings are offered, an artificial leather that wipes down after a session and a genuine black leather for a unit that is going to be looked at as much as used. The frame weighs 15 kg (33 lb) either way.

Ownership
The bench has no footprint of its own and no parts to maintain, so the practical questions are all about the panel it hangs on and the wall behind that, the two leathers it is offered in, and the 15 kg it adds to whatever the rungs are already carrying.
01
The bench hangs on NOHrD WallBars and has no legs and no freestanding mode. Without the panel there is nothing to hook it to.
02
It arrives complete in one package and is ready the moment it is out of the box. It goes onto the rungs without tools, fixings or an adapter.
03
15 kg of bench plus the person on it runs through the rungs into the wall fixings, so the WallBar's 120 kg user rating is the ceiling.
04
Hung vertically on the bars between sessions, so the room reads as a room again the moment training finishes.
05
An artificial leather and a genuine black leather, over the same 136 x 33 cm padded frame and the same hooked wooden sides.
06
Hooked wooden sides in NOHrD's hard wax oil, so a bench sits against the bars as joinery and not as hardware.
07
Left hanging vertically it becomes a padded back rest for standing work against the bars, which is a second use for one purchase.
08
One year from shipment, going to two years on components and wooden components when you register inside the first year.
In detail
The load path
A wall-hung bench has a load path worth understanding before the first session. Your weight goes into the padded top, through the hooks, into a rung, along the WallBar's side rails and out through its wall fixings into the building. The panel is the part carrying a rating: 120 kg (265 lb) maximum user weight on the NOHRD WallBar, and the bench's own 15 kg sits on top of that. Because the WallBar is a wall-mounted product, where it can go is decided by the wall, and the floor plays no part in it, and a 230 cm panel taking a 120 kg user needs a wall that can hold it. Send us the wall construction you are working with and we will get NOHrD's installation requirements for it.
The system
The bench is one of six parts NOHrD builds to hang on the same rungs, and the six do not overlap much. The Multi-Adapter hangs one way up as a dip support and the other way up as a horizontal bar. The WallBars Desk turns the panel into a sitting or standing workstation and needs the Multi-Adapter under it. The CombiTrainer adds a sliding bench on cables for bodyweight pulling. The Extension adds height and one more bar at the base of the panel and the Locking Set holds the fold-out pull-up arm closed.
The range
Everything in this group hooks onto the same rungs, and every one of the clip-ons is useless without the panel underneath it. The WallBar panel carries the 120 kg rating for all of them, the Bench and the CombiTrainer hang straight off the rungs, the Desk needs the Multi-Adapter under it before it will mount, and the Extension adds rungs at the bottom of the panel.
The wall-mounted panel every other part hangs on, with a fold-out top bar for pull-ups.
You're Here
Incline workout bench and back support that hooks onto any rung and stores upright on the panel.
Sliding bench and cable pulley frame that hooks onto the rungs and works against bodyweight.
Laminated solid wood work surface that hooks onto a rung for sitting or standing work.
One part with two orientations, hanging as a triceps dip support or as a horizontal bar.
Bottom-mounted panel that extends the wall bar downward on any NOHrD wall bar.
Questions
The NOHRD WallBar, and only that. The bench is offered in two leather coverings and it hooks onto the rungs of the wall bar panel, so it fits the 10-bar version and the 14-bar version equally and fits nothing else in the NOHrD range. There is no freestanding mode: without a WallBar on the wall there is nothing to hang it from.
No. The bench hooks straight onto a rung with nothing in between. The part that does carry that dependency is the WallBars Desk, which is used in combination with the Multi-Adapter and is a separate purchase from it. The bench, the Extension, the Locking Set and the CombiTrainer all hang without an adapter.
Up to 95 cm (37.4 in.), on any rung below that height. That band is where the useful angles sit: near the floor the bench is close to flat, and at the top of the band it is a steep incline. On a 14-bar panel the positions are 10 cm apart and on a 10-bar panel they are 18 cm apart, so the rung count decides how finely you can set the angle.
136 x 33 cm (53.5 x 13 in.) and 15 kg (33 lb). It is light enough to lift onto a rung one-handed at the low positions and to move up the panel between sets. The padded surface runs the full length of the frame, and the frame is what carries the hooks at one end.
Work to the NOHRD WallBar's 120 kg (265 lb) maximum user weight, because everything put on the bench is carried by the rung, the panel and the wall fixings behind it. Remember the bench itself adds 15 kg to whatever the panel is holding, so a 120 kg user on a 15 kg bench already puts 135 kg through the rungs. The bench hooks onto any rung up to 95 cm (37.4 in.) of height, and the lower you hang it the shorter the lever arm the panel has to resist, so a flat or gently inclined setting at chest height works the fixings less than the top rung does. The rungs themselves are 38 mm solid wood on a 230 cm panel, and the bench spreads its 136 x 33 cm frame across them so that no single point carries the load.
One year from the date of shipment, covering private and commercial use, with repair or replacement at NOHrD's works in Nordhorn or a nominated service centre. Registering within that first year takes it to two years on all components and all wooden components. Spare parts carry ninety days, and wear and tear on the upholstery is treated as wear and tear.
On the bars. The bench hangs vertically on the WallBar for storage, flat against the panel, so it takes no floor space at all when it is not in use. In that position it also works as a back support for exercises done standing against the bars, which is a second job for the same part.
Both are offered, an artificial leather and a genuine black leather, on an identical frame at identical dimensions and on the same hooked wooden sides. Artificial leather is the practical choice for a garage, a garden room or a household with several people using the panel, because it wipes down. Genuine leather is worth the difference on a wall bar that lives in a room people sit in.
No. It ships in one package ready to hang, with no assembly, no tools and no fixings to find. It is a genuine difference inside the WallBar range, where the Extension, the Desk and the CombiTrainer all need building before they go up.
The bench is ordered by covering and not by wood. The two variants are an artificial leather and a genuine black leather, over the same 136 x 33 cm padded frame at the same 15 kg, and there is no separate finish picker on the bench at checkout. The hooked wooden sides come as NOHrD supplies them, oiled in the same hard wax oil that runs across the range, so they sit with a WallBar and not against it. Tell us which finish your panel is when you order and we will keep the bench alongside it, since the WallBar itself runs the full six-finish ladder from Shadow up to Walnut and the bench sides are oiled to sit with any of them.
It adds everything that needs a supported torso: incline and flat dumbbell pressing, supported rows, seated and lying work against the rungs, and step and hip positions with the feet on the panel. Hung vertically it becomes a back rest for standing exercises. Those are the exercise families the part opens up on a panel that otherwise only offers hanging and bodyweight positions.
The bench itself touches no wall, but the panel it hangs on does. The NOHRD WallBar is a wall-mounted product 230 cm tall that sits 6 cm off the wall face and is rated to a 120 kg user, and every load put on the bench ends up in that wall. Which wall it can go on is therefore the first question in the whole order and never an afterthought. Send us your wall construction and we will get NOHrD's installation requirements for it.
