Two-Person Outdoor Traditional Sauna

SunRay Bristow 2-Person Outdoor Traditional Sauna

The SunRay Bristow 2-Person Outdoor Traditional Sauna is a wet/dry traditional sauna for two, heated by a 4.5 kW electric Harvia heater that comes with its lava rocks. Keep the room dry, or pour water over the stones for steam, with temperatures up to 170 degrees either way. Aged Canadian hemlock forms the cabin, sealed against the weather under a durable metal roof. Inside, a 44-inch wide bench seat fills a 45-inch-square room, and a front window brings daylight in beside it. The cabin is 50 inches square under a 61-inch-square roof and rises 98 inches.

The walls are double-paneled for superior heat retention, which keeps a room this size warm between pours. Two people put the pre-built panels together with a screwdriver in about two hours.

The Bristow Build

How it works

The Bristow pairs a sealed hemlock cabin and doubled walls with a 4.5 kW heater and a durable metal roof.

Aged Canadian Hemlock

The Bristow cabin is constructed of aged Canadian hemlock. The wood grows slowly in Canada's cold climate, and that slow growth gives it strength, stability and corrosion resistance.

Hemlock Cabin

Double-Paneled Walls

Every wall is double-paneled, so the heat built up by the heater stays inside the cabin. The panels are laser-cut tongue and groove, cut for strength and for ease of assembly.

Tongue and Groove Panels

Electric Harvia Heater

The heater is a 4.5 kW electric Harvia unit and it includes lava rocks, so the Bristow can be run dry or with water on the stones. It is ample for maintaining temperatures up to 170 degrees.

4,500 W, 220V, 30 A

Sealed Cabin Under A Metal Roof

A 61 by 61 inch metal roof covers the 50-inch-square cabin, overhanging it on every side. Below it, the cabin is sealed and weatherproof, so the hemlock stays protected against the elements.
