Theragun Heated Percussive Plus Attachment

The Theragun Heated Percussive Plus is a heated attachment that mounts on the front of a Theragun Plus massage gun and warms the muscle while the head is still driving in and out. It holds three temperatures: 45, 50 and 55 degrees Celsius. The head measures 2.1 in by 2.4 in and weighs 2.1 oz. The shell uses PA+GF and silicone. It fits the Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus, each sold on its own. A 90-day limited warranty from Therabody comes with it.

Heat and movement running together is the whole reason this head exists. One control steps through 45, 50 and 55 degrees Celsius, which is 113, 122 and 131 Fahrenheit. In a Therabody Labs study the heated attachments reached maximum treatment temperature 44% and 55% faster than two competing devices. The study ran on eight participants, measured on a single muscle, over 30 seconds of application. Read it as a narrow test of warm-up speed, because that is all it measured.

The head belongs to the Plus generation and stops there. The Theragun PRO, Elite, Prime, Sense, Relief, Mini, G3PRO and G3 use the classic attachment range, and the two families do not swap. Therabody runs two attachment families that do not interchange, and this head belongs to the newer one. It mounts on the Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus. The rest of the Theragun line takes a classic head, and a classic head carries no heat at all. Check the box your device came in before you order, because all three of those models already ship with a heated head: the PRO Plus and the Prime Plus among their other attachments, the Mini Plus as the only head it supplies. What you are buying here is a second head or a replacement for a tired one, and on the Mini Plus it is also the only spare there is.

One Heated Percussive Plus Attachment. It is a single head, not a kit: the massage gun it mounts on is bought separately, and there is no case, no stand and no second head in with it.
Three of them: the Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus, each sold separately. It does not fit the PRO, Elite, Prime, Sense, Relief, Mini, G3PRO or G3. Those eight run the classic attachment range, which has no heated head in it.
You mount the head and the device runs the treatment. Nothing about the attachment plugs into a wall on its own. On a Theragun PRO Plus the average runtime is about 150 minutes, and that figure moves with whichever attachment is fitted, so a session leaning on heat can come in shorter.
Three set points: 45°C (113°F), 50°C (122°F) and 55°C (131°F). They are chosen on the device, not on the head. Start at the lowest setting the first time and work up once you know how the warmth reads on that part of the body.
Let the head cool before you touch it, then wipe the silicone face and the collar with a damp cloth and dry it off. Keep it out of a bag while it is still warm. The collar that grips the device is the part that sees the most handling, so twist it on squarely and never force it.
Anyone whose Theragun is not a Plus model, because it will not mount. Anyone expecting their first heated head: the PRO Plus, the Prime Plus and the Mini Plus all arrive with one, so this listing is a second head or a replacement for a tired one.
