Theragun Cold Plus Attachment

The Theragun Cold Plus is a cold attachment that mounts on the front of a Theragun Plus massage gun and holds the head at a set low temperature while it works. Three settings are available: 5, 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. In Fahrenheit that is 41, 50 and 59. The head measures 2.6 in by 2.9 in and weighs 4.5 oz. It fits the Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus. Each of those devices is a separate purchase, and a 90-day limited warranty covers the head.

What you get here is cold and movement arriving on the same spot at the same moment. One control on the device steps through the three set points: 15 degrees Celsius at the mild end, 10 in the middle and 5 at the coldest. Fahrenheit reads 59, 50 and 41. Start at 15 the first time you take it to a new area, then step down once you know how the cold reads there. The temperature is chosen on the device and the head simply holds it.

The head belongs to the Plus generation and stops at the edge of it. The three devices that take it are the Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus. The PRO, Elite, Prime, Relief, Mini, G3PRO and G3 take classic attachments, which carry no temperature of any kind. Fifteen ten and five degrees Celsius

The three set points are spaced wide enough that they do not feel like variations on one temperature. Fifteen degrees Celsius is the mild end, cool to the touch without being a shock on a sensitive area. Ten sits in the middle. Five is the coldest the head goes and it makes itself felt quickly, so short passes suit it better than long ones. All three are picked on the screen or the buttons of the device, so you can move between them mid-session without taking the head off.

Before you add cold to the routine

One Cold Plus Attachment and nothing else. The massage gun it mounts on is a separate purchase, and no case, cable or second head travels with it.
The Theragun PRO Plus, the Theragun Prime Plus and the Theragun Mini Plus. All three are sold separately. The classic Theraguns, meaning the PRO, Elite, Prime, Relief, Mini, G3PRO and G3, use a different attachment mount and take a different range of heads.
The head mounts on the device and the device runs the treatment, so the length of a session is set by the massage gun you own. A Theragun PRO Plus averages about 150 minutes of runtime, and that number moves with the attachment fitted. There is no separate cable to plug into the head.
Three set points: 15°C (59°F), 10°C (50°F) and 5°C (41°F). They are selected on the device. The coldest setting bites quickly, so keep those passes short until you know how it reads on a given area.
Let the head come back to room temperature, wipe the face and the collar with a damp cloth, then dry it. Condensation is normal on a cold surface, so do not put it away damp. Store it off the device if it is going in a bag.
