The Bear Pro Foam is a 12-inch all-foam mattress engineered around pressure relief. It stacks five layers under a quilted Celliant® cover. An extra quilt foam layer at the surface cushions on first contact. Gel swirl memory foam contours below it, and responsive comfort foam buffers the transition. The layers stack in a clear order, top to bottom. A quilted Celliant® cover sits at the top, the same mineral-infused fabric Bear uses on its foam and hybrid models. Under it, the extra quilt foam adds plush surface cushioning at the shoulder and hip on first contact. A gel-infused swirl memory foam layer contours below that while drawing heat away through gel beads dispersed in the foam. Responsive comfort foam buffers between the memory foam and the base and heads off the "sinking" feel of cheaper all-foam beds. Five inches of high-density foundation foam carry the load and resist the sagging that develops over years of use.

Against the Bear Original, the Pro Foam changes the top of the build and leaves the base alone. Both carry the same Celliant® cover, the same medium-firm band and the same high-density foam foundation. The Pro Foam adds two inches of profile and the quilt foam layer, so the first inch or two of contact reads softer while the support underneath holds.
