Chattanooga Intelect TranSport

Chattanooga Intelect Ultrasound Applicator

The Chattanooga Intelect Ultrasound Applicator is the pre-calibrated ultrasound applicator for the first-generation Intelect TranSport, built in four sound head sizes: 1, 2, 5 and 10 cm2. Heads swap on the same console, and the size you fit sets the output ceiling. That ceiling runs from 0 to 2 W on the 1 cm2 up to 0 to 20 W at 1 MHz on the 10 cm2. The 1 cm2 head runs at 3.3 MHz only, while the other three switch between 1 MHz and 3.3 MHz.

Effective radiating area is 0.7 to 1, 1.4 to 2, 3.5 to 5 and 6.8 to 10 cm2 in size order, and the beam nonuniformity ratio is 5.0:1 maximum on all four heads. At 3.3 MHz the 10 cm2 head runs 0 to 10 W. The heads fit the Intelect TranSport Ultrasound and the Intelect TranSport Combo, and the 5 cm2 head ships as standard with both, so the 1, 2 and 10 cm2 sizes are the ones you add. Chattanooga warrants each applicator for 12 months.
