Chattanooga Transport 2 Ultrasound Applicator

The Chattanooga Transport 2 Ultrasound Applicator is a pre-calibrated, ergonomically designed ultrasound applicator for the Intelect Transport 2 Combo and the Intelect Transport 2 Ultrasound, working at 1 MHz or 3.3 MHz. It comes in three sizes, 2, 5 and 10 cm2, with effective radiating areas of 1.5, 3.0 and 5.8 cm2 at both frequencies. When the head loses contact with the patient, coupling detection can sound an audible beep and stop the treatment timer. An LED on the head flashes at the same moment.

Each head is rated IPX7, with a beam nonuniformity ratio under 6:1. Both machines arrive with the 5 cm2 head, so the 2 and 10 cm2 sizes are the ones you add, and the 2 cm2 is the smallest head the platform takes.
