Hyperice Normatec 3 Leg and Hip Recovery System

The Hyperice Normatec 3 Leg and Hip Recovery System pairs full-length compression boots with a hip attachment, and both run from one Normatec 3 control unit. The boots finish at the hip crease, so the glutes and lower back sit outside a leg-only session. The hip attachment wraps that band and works it with 2 overlapping zones. Swap the hose from the boots to the hip attachment and the session moves up the body. Boot sizes run Short, Standard and Tall, and the hip attachment needs no size choice.

Legs run at seven levels from 40 to 110 mmHg, and patented Pulse technology carries the pressure through both attachment types. The control unit weighs 3.2 lbs and measures 4 x 4.5 x 8.5 in. ZoneBoost adds extra time and pressure in a particular zone, hips included. Bluetooth connects to the Hyperice App.

How it works

The Normatec 3 control unit runs the boots and the hip attachment, and the hip attachment works a shorter band with fewer zones.

Overlapping zones in the hips
The hip attachment holds two overlapping chambers, where a boot holds five. It is a shorter run of tissue, so it needs fewer stages to cover it, and the overlap keeps the two from leaving a gap where they meet across the lower back and hip area.
