One Wrap, Four Leg Muscles
The Leg is the compact one. At 38 × 14 × 2 in it is the smallest panel in the Venom 2 family, sized to close around a quad, a hamstring, a knee or a calf and cinch down with an adjustable compression strap. It weighs 1.1 lbs, which is the difference between a wrap you leave on the sofa and one you throw in a kit bag.
Everything electrical inside it matches the larger Venom 2 wraps. Heat runs 113°F (45°C), 122°F (50°C) and 131°F (55°C). Three vibration patterns run underneath, set on their own button. Battery life is 3 hours, and the 18V power supply ships with three international plug adapters.
Inside The Panel
A leg is a cylinder that tapers, and it changes shape when the muscle under it contracts. That is a different fitting problem from a back or a shoulder, and it is where the 38 by 14 inch panel earns its dimensions.
Why The Leg Wrap
The Venom 2 wraps share their electronics, so the argument for any one of them is made in inches and pounds. Here is what the Leg wrap's numbers buy you.
Specifications
The box holds the wrap and the means to charge it. There are no attachments, no sleeves and no consumables, so what arrives is what the wrap will be in two years.
Two inches is thin enough to sit under a tracksuit leg. The wrap closes on itself and the compression strap sets the tension, which is what keeps the heated silicone face in contact when the muscle underneath changes shape.
The Venom Range
Three of these run identical heat, vibration, battery and materials, so the only real question is which body part you are wrapping. The fourth, the Venom Go, is a different class of device with a lower heat ceiling.
