A Heated Massage That Goes Anywhere

Hyperice Venom Go

The Venom Go drops the strap. A small pod clips magnetically onto an adhesive pad, the pad sticks to skin, and the whole assembly weighs under 0.2 lbs. The pad measures 5 × 3 × 0.3 in and the pod 2 × 2 × 1 in, which puts the entire device inside the footprint of a phone.

Heat runs at 105°F (40°C), 109°F (43°C) and 113°F (45°C). That is a lower scale than the strapped Venom 2 wraps use, and it is worth knowing before you choose: the Venom Go's hottest setting is the Venom 2's coolest. Three vibration patterns pair with the three temperatures for nine combinations, charging is over USB-C, and three reusable pads come in the box.

Specifications

Hyperice Venom Go Portable Heat + Vibration System

Every wearable makes a trade between size and output. The Venom Go's trade is stated plainly in its own figures: a lower heat ceiling and a shorter battery than the strapped Venom 2 wraps, in a device small enough to leave on under a sleeve.

🧲
Power Of Pod + Pad
The pod holds the electronics, the battery and the three buttons. The pad holds the pod against skin. They join magnetically, so the pod lifts off for charging and clips back on without peeling anything. Three pads come in the box and Hyperice rates each one for up to 20 uses, which is 60 applications before you are looking at consumables.

HyperHeat™ Technology
Level 1, 105°F (40°C). Level 2, 109°F (43°C). Level 3, 113°F (45°C). This is the Venom Go's own scale and it does not match the strapped Venom 2 wraps, which run 113°F, 122°F and 131°F. If a hotter setting is what you are after, compare the scales themselves, since level 3 means a different temperature on each product.

🔋
A Battery Rated Per Mode
Hyperice publishes two figures: 1 hour at heat level 1, and 20 minutes at heat level 3 with vibration running. That is unusually honest for a spec sheet, and it tells you what the pod actually is: a short-session device you top up over USB-C between uses.

📱
Bluetooth® Across Multiple Devices
Bluetooth® connects the Venom Go to the Hyperice App, and on this product the app does something it does not do elsewhere in the range: it syncs multiple devices at once. Two pods on two different spots can be driven from the same screen.

Three Steps

How Venom Go Works

Venom Go pod, three adhesive pads and USB-C cable laid out
Connect Pod And Pad

What's Included And How It Assembles

Magnetically connect the Venom Go pod to a reusable pad and place it on skin. That is the whole assembly step. The pod comes off the same way when the session ends, so charging never involves the adhesive.

  • Venom Go pod: controls the device and connects to the pad, 2 x 2 x 1 in.
  • Venom Go pad: adhesive pad (3), each 5 x 3 x 0.3 in.
  • Power supply: a USB-C cable to charge your device
  • Pad usage: each unit comes with 3 pads for up to 20 uses per pad
  • Weight (pad + pod): under 0.2 lbs assembled

Placed Where You Want It, Hands Free

A knee, a forearm, the side of a calf, the back of a neck. The pad holds the pod in place without a strap, so the device works on parts of the body a wrap cannot close around, and it stays put while you carry on with whatever you were doing.

  • Adhesive pad holds the pod hands-free, with no strap, buckle or sleeve
  • Pad dimensions: 5 x 3 x 0.3 in., a footprint about the size of a playing card
  • Pod dimensions: 2 x 2 x 1 in., sitting proud of the pad
  • Place it where the body needs it and remove it with ease, in Hyperice's own words
  • Hyperice publishes no material or adhesive composition for the pads
Hands-free No strap 0.3 in pad

Nine Combinations From Three Buttons

Three levels of heat, three vibration patterns, chosen separately. Nine states in total, all reachable from the buttons on the pod itself or from the Hyperice App if the pod is somewhere your fingers cannot easily find.

  • HyperHeat™ technology: Level 1, 105F (40C) / Level 2, 109F (43C) / Level 3, 113F (45C)
  • Three vibration patterns, set independently of the heat level
  • Battery: 1 hour at heat level 1, and 20 minutes at heat level 3 with vibration
  • Bluetooth: connects via Bluetooth® to the Hyperice App to sync multiple devices at once
  • No auto shut-off time, session timer or charge time is published for the Venom Go

The Venom Range

The Pod Against The Three Wraps

The Venom Go is the only Venom without a strap, and the only one with its own heat scale. The three Venom 2 wraps share heat, vibration, battery and materials with each other; they differ from one another only in shape.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

On an adhesive pad. The Venom Go pod connects magnetically to a Venom Go pad, and the pad sticks to skin. There is no strap and no buckle, which is what lets it sit on places a wrap cannot close around. Three pads ship in the box.
Three levels: 105°F (40°C), 109°F (43°C) and 113°F (45°C). These are the Venom Go's own published temperatures and they are lower than the strapped Venom 2 wraps at every step.
No, and the gap is worth understanding. The Venom Go tops out at 113°F (45°C), which is the lowest of the three settings on the Venom 2 Back, Shoulder and Leg wraps. Those go on to 122°F and 131°F. If the top of the Venom 2 scale is what you want, the pod will not reach it.
Hyperice gives two figures, so the answer depends on how hard you run it: 1 hour at heat level 1, and 20 minutes at heat level 3 with vibration running. Everything in between sits between those two numbers. No charge time is published.
Three, and yes. Hyperice's stated rating is 3 pads for up to 20 uses per pad, so the box holds roughly 60 applications' worth of adhesive. Each pad measures 5 x 3 x 0.3 in. The pod itself is not a consumable; only the pads are.
The pod is unaffected, since it holds all the electronics and simply clips onto a fresh pad. Replacement pads are not part of this listing, so check availability separately before you rely on the Venom Go as a long-term daily device.
Under 0.2 lbs for pad and pod together. The pad is 5 x 3 x 0.3 in and the pod is 2 x 2 x 1 in. For scale, the Venom 2 Leg wrap is 1.1 lbs and the Venom 2 Back is 2.3 lbs.
Three heat levels multiplied by three vibration patterns. Heat and vibration are set on separate buttons, so any temperature can run with any pattern, and Hyperice counts that as 9 combinations of heat and vibration. Both can also be driven from the Hyperice App.
Over USB-C. The power supply in the box is a USB-C cable, so the same cable that charges a laptop or a phone will do the job. Hyperice does not publish the charging method for the strapped Venom 2 wraps.
Yes. Bluetooth® connects the Venom Go to the Hyperice App to sync multiple devices at once, which is a capability Hyperice states for this product specifically. Two pods on two different spots can be driven from one screen.
Hyperice lists the Venom Go as TSA friendly and the Recovery For Athletes listing describes it as approved by TSA for carry-on. At under 0.2 lbs it is the smallest device in the Venom range by a wide margin. Rules on lithium-battery devices change, so check current guidance before you fly.
Hyperice's own framing is to place it wherever the body needs it most and remove it with ease, and it describes the Venom Go as a spot treatment. Because the pad is 5 x 3 in, it suits a single area. A quad or a lower back is a job for one of the Venom 2 wraps.
Hyperice publishes no auto shut-off time and no session timer for the Venom Go. In practice the battery is the limit, and at heat level 3 with vibration that limit arrives in 20 minutes. Follow the instructions supplied in the box.
Choose by area and by heat. The Venom Go covers one spot, tops out at 113°F, runs 20 to 60 minutes and weighs under 0.2 lbs. A Venom 2 wrap covers a whole region, reaches 131°F, runs 3 hours and weighs 1.1 to 2.3 lbs. The pod travels; the wraps do the bigger job.
Hyperice lists the Venom Go as FSA/HSA eligible. Your plan administrator decides on individual claims, so confirm with them before you submit one.

Great device to relief localize pain

"This is the best device ever. Like the way it localizes specific areas that you to need to treat. Love the vibration and heat mode that it has. Wished the battery would last super long but at least it lasts long enough for the duration of the treatment at max settings. I loved it so much that i bought some for Christmas to give to family members"

Awesome!!

"I play a lot of pickleball and work out 5 days a week so occasionally, I’ll pull a calf muscle . My PT suggested the Hyperice venom. I decided on the universal venom which can be placed on shoulder, hip, calf, etc. It works great and so glad I purchased it."

Q&A

Hi, would this be your recommendation for crappy calves or something else?
Yes this can certainly help with calves!
