The Jugs Defensive Short Legs (3): BP3, SP3 and mini3 Baseball Machines are a set of three short pitching machine legs that swap onto a Jugs BP3, SP3 or mini3 baseball machine and drop the delivery height to fungo level, the low height a coach hits fielding practice from. Quick-Snap release buttons do the swap, so no T-handle and no leg clamp are needed. The machine goes from batting practice to defensive work in the middle of a session, at a height that suits the short-handled, lightweight practice bat.

At fungo height the machine throws the defensive drills: catcher pop-ups, infield fielding, tags at second base, double plays and deep fly balls. To move between stations, lock the machine in the pop-up position, lower it to the ground and wheel it like a wheelbarrow.
