Cold Plunge Therapy

Luxury Spas Cold Plunge Pro

The Cold Plunge Pro is the compact tub in the Luxury Spas plunge range. The cabinet measures 67 inches long, 30 inches wide and 23 inches tall, and the chiller and filtration hardware live inside that cabinet, so there is no separate box to find room for and plumb alongside it. Inside, the bathing well runs 63 inches long by 30 inches wide, with 17 inches of interior height.

A 1 HP chiller takes the water down to 37°F. The same pump heats as well as chills, so the working range is 37°F to 104°F. Luxury Spas rates the pull-down at 100 litres from 73°F to 42°F in 1.5 hours with the surrounding air at 59°F. Total draw is 750 watts on one dedicated 15 amp 120V circuit, and control is by side-mounted LED panel or phone.

What the 750 Watts Actually Do

Four numbers decide whether a plunge is usable at home: how cold it gets, how fast it gets there, how the water is kept clear, and what it asks of your electrical panel. Here are the Pro's.

1 HP Chiller, Mounted Internally
The cool and heat pump brings water as low as 37°F and covers everything up to 104°F, so the same tub can be run warm off-season. The unit sits behind the cabinet walls.
37°F floor
Rated Pull-Down Time
Luxury Spas quotes 100 litres taken from 73°F to 42°F in 1.5 hours with 59°F ambient air. Warmer air or a fuller tub will lengthen that; the figure gives you a fixed reference point.

A multi-stage filtration and conditioning system handles the chilled water, fed by a circulation pump chosen for low energy consumption, long service life and quiet running.

Three Details Worth Measuring

Luxury Spas Cold Plunge Pro, product photograph 2
Dimensions

A 63-Inch Well Inside a 67-Inch Cabinet

Four inches of the exterior length go to structure and hardware; the rest is water. At 23 inches of exterior height the Pro sits low enough to step into from a patio surface without a platform, and the 17-inch interior height is the shallowest of the three Luxury Spas plunges. Measure your pad against the 67 by 30 inch outline before you order.

  • Exterior: 67 in L x 30 in W x 23 in H
  • Interior well: 63 in L x 30 in W x 17 in H
  • Interior width matches the exterior width across the range at 30 in
  • Sits 5 in lower at the rim than the Pro XL and All In
67 in long 17 in interior height Low step-over

Controls and Access

Panel on the Side, Service Panels That Come Off

Because the chiller is inside the cabinet, two things matter: getting air to it and getting hands on it. The Pro answers both with removable service and ventilation panels. Day-to-day temperature setting happens at the side-mounted LED panel, or over the phone connection if you want the water ready before you walk outside.

  • Side-mounted LED control panel
  • Removable service panels for chiller access
  • Ventilation panels for the internal equipment bay
  • Smartphone connectivity for remote control

Water Care

Circulation Pump and Conditioning Loop

Cold water still needs to move. The circulation pump runs quietly at low power and is built for long service life, pushing water through a multi-stage filtration and conditioning system that keeps chilled water clear. Filtration and chilling share the same internal bay, which is why one set of service panels reaches both.

  • Multi-stage filtration and conditioning system
  • Quiet circulation pump with low energy consumption
  • Filtration and chiller housed together inside the plunge
  • Plug and play setup out of the crate

Four Ways to Get Cold

All three plunges use the same 1 HP chiller and the same 750 watt, 15 amp 120V supply. What changes is the size of the well and, on the Marquis, whether there is a hot side at all.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Down to 37°F. The 1 HP cool and heat pump is rated for a working range of 37°F to 104°F, so the same tub can be set anywhere between those two figures.
Luxury Spas' published figure is 100 litres from 73°F to 42°F in 1.5 hours with ambient air at 59°F. Treat that as a fixed benchmark for comparing units: a hotter starting point, warmer air or a full 63-inch well will all stretch the time out.
One dedicated 15 amp 120V circuit. Total draw is 750 watts, which sits comfortably inside what a 15 amp household circuit can carry. No 240V feed and no sub-panel are required. The circuit should serve the plunge on its own, with no other outdoor loads on it.
Inside the plunge. The chiller and the filtration system share an internal bay behind removable service and ventilation panels, so there is no separate chiller box to find space for or plumb in.
The cabinet is 67 inches long, 30 inches wide and 23 inches tall. Leave working room on the side that carries the service and ventilation panels so the chiller can breathe and can be reached.
63 inches long, 30 inches wide, 17 inches of interior height. That 17-inch figure is the shallowest interior in the Luxury Spas plunge line, which is also why the tub is only 23 inches tall on the outside.
Luxury Spas' paperwork for this model gives two different maximum heights in two different places, so we are not going to print either as fact. Size it on the interior measurements instead: 63 inches long by 30 inches wide by 17 inches deep. If you are close to the limit, ask us and we will confirm the figure with Luxury Spas before you order, or look at the Pro XL, whose well is 70 inches long.
Yes. The pump heats as well as chills, with an upper limit of 104°F. No massage jets are listed for this tub, so a warm setting gives you a still soak.
A circulation pump moves water through a multi-stage filtration and conditioning system built for chilled water. The pump is specified for low energy consumption, quiet operation and long service life.
Yes, the Pro has smartphone connectivity alongside the side-mounted LED panel. Luxury Spas does not publish a list of supported handsets; if that matters to your setup, ask us before ordering.
Cold water immersion means sitting in water held well below body temperature for a short, timed period. It is a long-standing practice in athletic training rooms and a routine many people keep at home. Luxury Spas describes cold water immersion as invigorating for the body; that is their characterisation, and we make no medical or therapeutic claims for this equipment. If you have a heart or circulatory condition, are pregnant, or are managing an injury, talk to your doctor before starting cold immersion.
The documentation Luxury Spas supplies for the Cold Plunge Pro does not list a cover or steps as included items, unlike their hot tub models. Ask us before you order and we will confirm exactly what ships in the crate.
Ten years is the warranty Luxury Spas advertises on this range. For the coverage that applies to the chiller and to the shell, ask us for the current warranty document.
Yes. Luxury Spas publishes a Pro manual covering setup, water care and chiller service. We can send it over before purchase if you want to read the maintenance schedule first.
