Plug In Now, Convert Later

Luxury Spas Solace 3-Person Plug N Play Hot Tub

The Solace is the genuine dual-voltage spa in this range. Luxury Spas builds it to run from a standard 120V household outlet, and to be converted to 240V afterwards for more jet power and higher heater output. You can put it in this weekend and decide about an electrician later.

It holds 165 gallons across three seating positions in a cloud grey acrylic interior, with 25 adjustable stainless steel jets. Exterior is 79 by 59 by 29 inches at 529 lbs dry, and the interior bathing area measures 75 by 55 by 26 inches. Balboa controls run it, and ozone sterilisation plus filtration handle the water between soaks.

How the Hybrid Works

Two Supply Modes, One Spa

Most spas commit you to a voltage on day one. The Solace gives you a 120V mode you can use immediately and a 240V mode you can move up to when the wiring is in.

🔌
120V Mode, Then 240V Mode
Luxury Spas describes the Solace as plugging into a standard 120V outlet for plug-and-play convenience, then converting to a standard 240V spa for more jet power and more efficient heater output. Have us confirm the exact circuit specification for whichever mode you intend to run before any electrical work is booked.

💨
25 Adjustable Stainless Steel Jets
Stainless steel jet faces across all twenty-five positions, each adjustable by hand. The count is the highest of the three-seat spas in this range, and the layout covers the lower body from the three seating positions.
25 jets
🌡
Titanium Heater With a 240V Step Up
The element is titanium, and its output rises when the spa is wired for 240V. That is the practical difference between the two modes: the same tub reheats faster after a soak once it is converted. Ask us for the confirmed output figures before you plan around them.
Output doubles
Freeze Protection Built In
Freeze protection is part of the Solace specification, which is what keeps water moving through the plumbing when outside temperatures drop. It is a standard feature on this model and one worth having on a spa that may sit unused for a week in January.

Three Seating Positions in a 75-Inch Interior

The bathing area is 75 inches long, 55 inches across and 26 inches deep, holding 165 gallons for up to three adults. Luxury Spas gives the Solace three different seating options so the hydromassage lands in a different place depending on where you sit, and the interior is finished in cloud grey.

Acrylic Inner Shell, Polystyrene Skirt

Luxury Spas points out that many plug-and-play spas are made of rigid moulded plastic, and builds the Solace with an acrylic inner shell inside a rigid polystyrene skirt for durability. Multi-layer thermal insulation sits between the two, the skirt seals moisture away from the internal components, and the UV rated cover closes off the top surface.

What We Will and Will Not Tell You About the Power

The Solace runs plugged into a standard 120V, 15-amp household circuit, and converts to 240V for higher jet and heater output. The published wattage figures for the 120V mode do not add up against a 15-amp circuit, so we have left them off this page. Get the circuit specification confirmed with us in writing before an electrician quotes any work.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Luxury Spas builds the Solace as a hybrid 120V/240V spa. Out of the crate it plugs into a standard household outlet on a 15-amp circuit. Converted to 240V by an electrician, the same spa runs as a standard 240V hot tub with more jet power and more efficient heater output. Contact us before booking any work and we will get the conversion procedure and the exact circuit specification confirmed by the manufacturer for your unit.
Because the published figures cannot be right. The manufacturer's own listing pairs the 15-amp 120V circuit with a wattage far higher than a household circuit of that size can deliver. A 15-amp 120V circuit tops out at roughly 1,800 watts, and the heater ratings quoted alongside it sit above that ceiling too. We are not going to print numbers on a page a shopper might hand to an electrician when we can see they do not add up, so this page gives you the two supply modes and no disputed wattage. Ask us and we will get the real figures in writing from Luxury Spas before you book any work.
Exterior 79 x 59 x 29 inches, interior 75 x 55 x 26 inches, dry weight 529 lbs, water capacity 165 gallons. These come from the manufacturer's own product page because this listing carries no specification tab of its own.
Water weighs about 8.34 lbs per gallon, so 165 gallons is roughly 1,376 lbs of water on top of the 529 lb dry weight, before you add bathers. Any deck or pad has to be rated for that. This is the one spa in the plug-and-play range where you can do that calculation, because it is the only one with a published gallon figure.
Up to three adults, in three different seating positions. The positions are shaped differently from one another, so the jets meet you at different heights depending on which seat you take.
25 adjustable stainless steel water jets. Each face turns to set its own flow. That is five more jets than the Allure or the Largo Plug & Play carry, and it is the highest count on any three-seat spa in this group.
Two systems. Ozone sterilisation treats the water as it circulates, and a water filtration system traps what ozone does not handle. You still test and balance the water yourself, but the ozone side reduces how much chemistry you add between refills.
Freeze protection is part of the Solace specification, and the spa is built with multi-layer thermal insulation, a rigid polystyrene skirt that keeps moisture off the internal components, and a thick UV rated insulated cover. Keep it powered through the winter so the freeze protection can do its job.
An acrylic inner shell with a rigid polystyrene skirt around it. Luxury Spas draws the distinction with plug-and-play spas built from rigid moulded plastic, and the acrylic surface is the same material used on their hardwired models.
Not on the Solace. Audio is listed on the Allure and the Largo Plug & Play. The Solace puts its budget into water volume and jet count, and carries multi-colour underwater LED lighting for atmosphere.
A UV rated spa cover and premium steps, valued together by Luxury Spas at $495. Those are the two items confirmed as shipping with the Solace.
Both are hybrids that plug in at 120V and convert to 240V. The Solace seats three, carries 25 jets and has a published 165 gallon capacity and a full set of dimensions. The Tahoe seats four with 24 jets and adds LED lighted cup holders, but its published dimensions conflict with another model in the range and we do not quote them. If you need confirmed measurements to plan a space, the Solace is the safer order today.
The Allure is the entertainment build: Bluetooth audio, a Hydrazone ozonator, three neck pillows and a taller 34-inch shell. The Solace is the water build: more jets, a confirmed 165 gallons, freeze protection and a documented 240V conversion. Both seat three.
Our product record for the Solace holds a description and nothing else, so we went to the manufacturer's published product page for the dimensions, weight, capacity, jet count and feature list you see here. Where that source contradicted itself, on the 120V electrical figures, we left the numbers out. If you want anything on this page confirmed before you buy, ask and we will put the question to Luxury Spas directly.
Luxury Spas advertises a 10 Year Warranty on these spas. We quote the term and nothing more, because the covered components and their individual periods are set out in the manufacturer's warranty document. Request it from us and we will send it over.
