Osaki | Model OS-3D Vito

Osaki OS Vito 3D Massage Chair

The Osaki OS Vito 3D is a 3D massage chair, so its rollers move in and out of the backrest as well as up, down and across it. That third axis decides how hard the massage can push, and it makes depth a number you set. A full SL-Track carries the mechanism from your neck to your hamstrings, following the curve of your spine and carrying on under the seat. Around it sit 44 air cells, against 24 on the two chairs beside it in the entry tier. The seat measures 21 in. across and the shoulders 20 in.

The rest of the specification keeps pace with the mechanism. Sixteen auto programs and six manual modes come off a touch pad or your voice. Heat reaches your lumbar and your calves. An intelligent health detection module takes readings while you sit, and shifts the technique from them as the session runs. Underneath, a multi-function foot roller works your soles and the spring-loaded footrest slides out up to 7 in. for longer legs. Upright the Vito 3D measures 29.5 by 59.4 by 44.1 in. Zero gravity is the recline that lifts your knees above your heart, and the Vito reaches it with 6 in. between the backrest and the wall. Measure a 32 in. doorway and 69.7 in. of floor depth.

How it works

The OS-3D Vito adds a third roller axis, 44 air cells, a scan that aims both and a module that changes the technique while a program is running.

The Third Dimension Is Depth
A 2D mechanism is the simplest of them: the rollers travel up and down the track and side to side across it. The Vito adds movement in and out, pushing the rollers forward toward your back and drawing them away again. How far they come forward is adjustable, so one program runs light through your shoulders and firm through your lower back, and the rollers follow the contours of your back as they travel. A 4D massage chair adds a fourth variable, which means the speed of that in-and-out movement changes through a stroke. That is the step above where the Vito sits, and a step up in price with it.
3 axes of movement
44 Air Cells Across Five Zones
Five zones carry them: the shoulders, the arms, the lumbar, the calves and the feet. Forty-four of them is a high count for a chair this size, and what you get for it is coverage: compression reaching five separate areas while the rollers work your back. The cells inflate and release in sequence within a zone, so the squeeze travels along an arm or a calf from one end to the other. That is the part of a full body air massage the roller track has no way of reaching.
5 zones covered
A Scan That Reads Shape and Size
Before a program begins, the Vito maps your body shape and size, and every movement after that is placed against the map. The scan runs at the start of every session, so the chair re-aims when the next person sits down and none of the sixteen auto programs needs the roller position nudged by hand first. The frame it is aiming inside measures 20 in. across the shoulders and 21 in. across the seat, which is a wide seat for a chair 29.5 in. across the outside.
Mapped before each session
Intelligent Health Detection
The module keeps taking readings the whole time you are in the chair, and the massage technique shifts with them. The chair keeps adjusting through a session, so you are not held to the setting you picked at the start. It is a comfort feature, it makes no diagnosis, and it is not a medical device.

How to use it

Osaki OS Vito 3D massage chair controller and auto programs
Controls

Sixteen Auto Programs on the Touch Pad

The Vito answers to speech through an onboard voice module that takes a wide command set. You start the chair, change it and stop it with your arms still inside the airbags at the armrests. That is the one moment in a massage when reaching for a remote is genuinely awkward. The touch pad handles everything else: sixteen auto programs, six manual modes, roller depth, heat and chair position. The auto programs run a full sequence from the body scan onwards. The six manual modes drive one technique at a point you choose. That is how you work a single spot between the shoulder blades for as long as you want it. Bluetooth speakers and LED lighting are built into the frame around you, and both run while a program plays.

Calf Heat Is Rare on an Entry Chair

The Vito heats two zones, the lumbar and the calves, and the calf pads are the ones an entry chair usually goes without. Both switch on and off from the touch pad while a program is running. Underneath, a multi-function foot roller works across different areas of your sole, with airbags on the calves and feet adding compression around it. The footrest carries 7 in. of spring loaded travel, which comes out under the weight of your legs and goes back in when you lift them.

Position

Zero Gravity With 6 in. Behind the Chair

Space saving technology walks the base forward as the backrest lowers, so the Vito reaches a complete zero gravity position from 6 in. off the wall. The depth it gains goes out in front: 59.4 in. upright becomes 69.7 in. reclined, and the height drops from 44.1 in. to 32.3 in. Width holds at 29.5 in. throughout, and the doorway you need is 32 in.

  • Upright 29.5 x 59.4 x 44.1 in.
  • Reclined 29.5 x 69.7 x 32.3 in.
  • 6 in. wall clearance in full zero gravity
  • Shoulder width 20 in., seat width 21 in.
  • Minimum doorway 32 in.
Zero gravity 6 in. from the wall 32 in. doorway

How it compares

The Vito 3D leads this group on the two things you feel from the seat, roller depth, because the mechanism moves in and out, and air coverage, at 44 cells against 24 on the two chairs beside it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Depth control. A 2D mechanism moves up and down the track and side to side across it, at one fixed distance from your back. The Vito's 3D mechanism moves in and out on top of those two axes, so the rollers push further toward you or pull away, and you set how far. It also lets the rollers follow the contours of your back as they travel, holding contact through the curve at the top of your spine and the hollow of your lower back.
Across five zones: your shoulders, your arms, your lumbar, your calves and your feet. The shoulder and arm cells work your upper body while you are lying back. The lumbar cells sit behind your lower back with the heat pads. The calf and foot cells wrap your legs from the knee down. That covers you from the shoulders to the soles, which is what the phrase full body air massage is describing on a spec sheet.
A sensing module that keeps reading you while you sit, with the massage technique adjusting from those readings in real time. It is there to pick how the chair works on you in a given session. It is not a medical device, it makes no diagnosis, and nothing it reads should be treated as a clinical measurement.
The Vito carries a voice control module that recognizes a wide range of commands, so you adjust the chair hands free. Programs, roller depth, heat and chair position all answer to it, and the touch pad covers the same ground for anything you would rather press.
From your neck and shoulders through to your hamstrings. It is a single continuous track, so the rollers hold contact from the top of your back all the way past the seat. An S-track is the rail that gives up at the tailbone, where your spine meets the seat. An L-track is the rail that reaches past that point, but takes a straighter line down your upper back to get there. The Vito's SL-track is one rail carrying both shapes, which is why the stroke has no break at the hips.
Two zones: the lumbar and the calves. The lumbar pads sit behind your lower back. The calf pads sit inside the leg rest, where the air cells wrap your calves at the same time. Warmth reaches the top and the bottom of the chair inside one program.
Yes, a multi-function foot roller that covers different areas of your sole, with airbags at the feet and calves working around it. The footrest is spring loaded and extends up to 7 in. for longer legs.
6 in. The base moves forward as the backrest lowers, so the chair still reaches a complete zero gravity position from that distance. What you do need is floor in front of it, because the Vito runs out to 69.7 in. deep with the backrest fully down.
Upright: 29.5 in. wide by 59.4 in. deep by 44.1 in. tall. Reclined: 29.5 in. wide by 69.7 in. deep by 32.3 in. tall. Shoulder width is 20 in. and seat width is 21 in.
You need 32 in. of clear width against a chair 29.5 in. across. Take the narrowest point of the opening with the door swung right back. If it will not open fully, measure from the hinge edge.
Sixteen auto programs and six manual modes. The auto programs run a full sequence; the manual modes drive a single technique at the point where you place it. Both come off the touch pad or your voice, and roller depth, heat and chair position sit on the same controller.
It maps your body shape and size, and the program is placed against that map. On a 3D chair the scan does more work than it does on a 2D chair, because the mechanism uses it to judge how far forward to push as well as where to travel.
