The Osaki Sonno XT-2 is a zero gravity power recliner, and it helps to be clear about what that means. There is no roller mechanism and no massage track. A body scan is the pass a massage chair makes to find your shoulders, and there is none. The Sonno is a leather recliner with a powered zero gravity recline, three air cells and a heated lumbar panel. The recline stops wherever you release the button, up to 40 degrees. What you are buying is the chair, the seating position and those two comfort systems. The frame carries a user up to 400 lb, as much as any Osaki seat.

The three air cells run behind your lower back and under the seat, covering the back down through the lower seat region. A heat panel sits at the lumbar and adjusts from the remote. Between the two systems there are 11 combinations of heat and air, 3 automatic modes and 4 ways to change the massage position. There are also 2 memory positions and a wake-up timer, with the automatic session set to 15 minutes. Furniture With a Powered Zero Gravity Recline

The Sonno XT-2 is built as a piece of furniture and then given a powered zero gravity recline, three air cells and a lumbar heat panel. Everything below explains those four things and nothing beyond them.

GravZero Power Recline

Osaki call the recline system GravZero. The recline is powered and it stops wherever you let go of the button, so you are choosing an angle of your own and not picking from two or three fixed stops. The maximum recline angle is 40 degrees, and at full recline the chair measures 55 in. long against 37 in. upright. Zero gravity is the position at the far end of that travel, where your knees finish above your heart and the backrest carries your weight along its length. Reaching it takes 28 in. of clearance behind the chair, so measure that gap before you choose the wall it stands against.

Three Air Cells Behind You

Three air cells sit inside the back and the seat, and Osaki call the system full spinal air massage. Their coverage runs from the back down through the lower seat region, so the compression follows the line where the backrest meets the seat. Three cells is a small count next to a massage chair carrying twenty or forty, and the reason is that this chair is not built around limb compression. The cells inflate and release along the lumbar and the seat only, and they are controlled from the same handheld remote as the heat.

Lumbar Heat on Its Own Control

A heat panel sits at the lower back and is adjusted from the remote, on its own control and independent of the air. Because the two systems are separate, the remote offers 11 different combinations of heat and air, which is the whole range of what the chair can be set to do. The heat and the recline are also independent, so the panel can be running with the chair upright or at any point through the recline.

Wood You Can See at the Base

Solid wood panels form the base of the chair and sit over a steel frame, which is where the 400 lb user rating comes from. The seat and back are memory foam under top grain leather, and the headrest adjusts with a removable pillow that lifts out when you want it flatter. Fully reclined it measures 29.3 in. by 55 in. by 32.7 in., so the chair gains 18 in. of length through the recline while its height drops 9.4 in. Width holds at 29.3 in. throughout, and that is the figure to measure your doorway and your route against. The clearance you need behind the chair to reach a full recline is 28 in. Everything on One Handheld Remote

One wired handheld remote runs the whole chair, and the list of what it can do is short enough to learn in a sitting. Heat and air combine 11 different ways, from air alone through heat alone to the two together at their various settings. Three automatic modes cycle the air for you, and there are 4 ways to change where the massage sits. Two memory positions store a recline angle you like so you can return to it with one press, and a wake-up timer brings the chair back up at the end of a session. The automatic timer runs 15 minutes, and it doubles as a sleep timer when you set the chair and leave it.

Solid wood panels are used for the base of the chair and are left visible as a finished surface, sitting over a steel frame underneath. Sonno XT-2 Questions on Recline Heat and Delivery

No. The Sonno XT-2 is a zero gravity power recliner with three air cells and a lumbar heat panel. If you want a chair with a roller mechanism, the Osaki Bliss VL and the Osaki Ziva 2D in the comparison above both run one.

Neither. A massage chair runs its rollers along a rail, which is the S-track, L-track or SL-track on the spec sheet. The Sonno has no roller mechanism, no track of any kind and no body scan. The two systems in the chair are air compression and heat, and the recline is a powered furniture mechanism.

We guarantees that your qualified product will be replaced or repaired at our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty parts, workmanship or structural defects during the first THREE (3) years of ownership, excluding specific limitations contained herein.

What Is Covered*:

This warranty explicitly covers all parts, labor and framework of the chair.
This warranty includes parts costs and labor for the first year at no cost to the customer.
This warranty includes parts costs covered for the second year at no cost to the customer.
Structural Framework on selected products carries for three (3) years.
The additional extended warranties includes parts and labor costs covered at no cost to the customer.

What Is NOT Covered*:

Any shipping expenses incurred. Transportation damage; theft; abuse; neglect; vandalism.
Damages incurred due to shipping and handling, dropped products, improper installation, and/or unauthorized repairs do not constitute a defect under this warranty.
Modifications or altered conditions of the original product, improper use of electrical/power supplies, electrical disturbances and power surges.
Malfunctions due to improper use as well as unreasonable use or maintenance including failure to follow operating instructions.
Any environmental conditions (examples: fire, floods, rust, corrosion, sand, dirt, windstorms, hail, earthquakes, and/or tornados) or any other exposure to weather conditions.
This warranty does not include normal wear and tear including velcro or zipper malfunction, or tears in any fabric covering by abuse. Failures or attached points in stitching, Velcro, and zippers do not constitute as a defect for warranty.
Softening/ hardening of foams and filling composites in pillows and pads; Fading, wear, and pilling of fabrics does not constitute a defect under this warranty as those items naturally change with use.
Natural patterns and grains and variations in leather will not constitute as a defect under this warranty, as no two pieces of fabric are identical.
The warranty shall not apply if the product has been damaged physically, whether intentionally or due accident or neglect: including stains, fluids, mold, water damage, animal damage, cuts, burns or is otherwise unsanitary, damaged or soiled.

Products purchased from unauthorized dealers.
Under this warranty, if a product is determined to be unfixable and requires replacement, the customer is responsible for placing the chair in the garage or another accessible location for the driver to pick up. The returned item must be properly packaged; otherwise, the agent will not be able to pick it up. Upon delivery, the delivery agent will place the chair in the driveway or the nearest accessible area, such as the garage.

Implied Warranty & Other Damages:

Any implied warranties shall be limited to the duration of the 1 year portion of this limited warranty, and with regard to structural framework, limited to the duration of the 3 year portion of this limited warranty.
By making a purchase, you agree that Titan Chair LLC. will not be liable for any items damaged and/or lost while en route to the specified address. Any claims for such loss or damage must be addressed and resolved with the designated carrier.
In no case will Titan Chair LLC. be liable for incidental or consequential damages, whether such damages are claimed on account of breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence or strict/product liability, including without limitation, damage to property (other than the product) or other economic losses.
